Thanks for the great video! Do we have to link our exhibition to only one theme? Here it looks like they've linked it to language, knower and societies at the same time. I am so confused!

That is a really good question. The wording in the course guide is that "it is highly recommended" that it links to one of the core themes. With that said, I agree with you here. I think that it's more important to have deep analysis than being married to a theme. Thanks for watching!

Not plagiarism, but I would definitely not go this route. The IB shared this example, so every examiner will be familiar with it.

Thanks, great video. I have a teacher problem though, I emulated different aspects. But the problem is that my teacher keeps firing back inquiry that isn’t relevant to the essay. He is confused with TOK. But doesn’t try to listen

Yes. This is a problem and you are not alone in this experience. As much as I hate to say it, since your teacher is in charge of your PG you gotta do what they ask

@@GetanAinTOK Yeah, its been a tough experience. I asked him to explain me some of his comments. He doesn’t seem to understand how his inquiry is relevant to the overall research question. He named the tok essay as TOK IA essay. And its IB1, and he seems to be incredibly confuse.

You say that subtext and connotation are key terms, but when I search up key terms they are certainty, culture, evidence, explanation, interpretation, justification, objectivity, perspective, power, responsibility, truth, and values.

IIRC there is no definitive list of key terms that are approved by TOK. What I meant in here is that the exhibition writer chose to focus on those terms -- they are key for the assignment. All of those key terms are good, too!
