Hey Muz was planning on visiting Toka and Leon Kinvig soon, is it worth taking a rod for a fish in the Pohangina?

Yeah if you have a little 4 piece or something that packs right down. I haven’t seen many fish myself but have heard they have become more common up there.

G'Day. I actually tried getting up there last Monday. I've been meaning to visit it as its one of the few huts in the Ruahines I havn't been to...and hello I find a video of it today! I never made it as the wind up the top was the strongest I have ever experienced so it was to dangerous and I turned back. I'm now going to have to visit again to tick it off the list. Thanks for the work you did!.

Nice vid mate. Starting to see a few deer hanging around the bush lines at the mo. Be tripping over them soon. Have to make my way up there to toka this summer - when the wind isn’t humming through there!
