Excellent review, thank you. Just had to buy Tokaido for $100!! Can't find it anywhere! Very much worth it but wasn't sure if I wanted expansions. Thanks for reviewing them so well.

Nice informative video, thanks for the upload! I bought Tokaido last week and I really like it, so I think I may buy Crossroads if I end up playing it very often. But from the little I saw about the Matsuri characters, they seem a bit stronger than the regular ones, what are your thoughts?

It's nice to have Matsuri, but you're right. The characters are a bit more powerful and somewhat change the feel of the game. Just get Crossroads for now, and see from there if you need more variety. Thanks for the nice comments.

I don't like this expansion for two reasons: first one is that this expansion is required to play Matsuri, which isn't an issue though you can just leave out certain cards. The second reason is that this introduces text into the language-independent game.
