Changes are good, but some additional requirement, would be great. So far, I would like to see A8 feature classes D-A since there are some decent ones that performs well. So far,I did the 6 streets defended and for now, I’m just going to chill until the birthday cake arrives.

Yes, exactly. There's so many cars given all classes in the game, yet focusing only on class S really is a disservice to all the beauties of cars in the game

When I first installed the game more than 4 years ago, tokens could be won in some events + in A8 Mastery (if I recall correctly). There were no exclusive p2w currencies and the game was great, before the introduction of the fuse coins. Later on it was still OK-ish, but then the credit farming was nerfed + the boxes with random cards that could be bought with tokens got removed and at even later on (after I uninstalled the game) some currencies have been made only p2w. I can assure you - the game was much more alive back then (when there were no exclusively p2w currencies) than it is now. So it is more likely the game to be getting more players. So I doubt that it is dying 😀 Stay safe 😇

Thing is, the P2W currency has been the "vouchers" for a while, along with Tokens. They were overlapping. It seems GL rather than remove tokens, they're just making it yet another currency that is rare, but not P2W exclusive

Hey DBT, thanks for the upload. It really makes sense for the racers to try hard to... how should I put it... ,,League up" quickly 😀And for the good players + the p2w who have exclusively the best vehicles... it might make sense to play (almost) all the time with S-class cars/bikes, once they can. But for below average players like my self... it is a different story. Before my main goal was to get to the Elite before the end of the season, cause 500k fc is a very good incentive. But one more box that I could earn per day wasn't making that much of a difference. Whereas now, If I manage to get to the Elite... say, during the first weekend, I'd also like to stay in the elite for the entire next week, at least until the second weekend. That is because now I earn tokens from the boxes (big kudos to GL) 🤩. And because I perform better with my Spada, my C-class and even D-class cars (especially in the 1053-1138 and 1139-1232 brackets), I'd rather play with those slow-to-medium-fast cars, in order not to fall from the Elite back into Champion League. Well, maybe one box less is OK, but only for one day. So I wouldn't risk playing with my Tachion before the last day of the season. In conclusion - while the good players + some p2w will most likely play mostly with S-class cars, the not so good f2p players like me might opt for playing with the A, B, C and D class vehicles, at least until the final day of the MP season😤. Yeah, right now is most definitely a great idea to hit elite ASAP. I honestly can't be bothered because I don't play the game enough. I'll be fine missing some tokens for a few days. But in reality, most people should indeed try to get to elite and get the most tokens. Who knows if this system will stay

they used to have daily tasks that award you tokens, and after doing enough you get a loot crate, but they removed it a LONG time ago

The voucher coins are slowly replacing tokens, its not like they are giving free tokens because they are very useful, you can only buy some few cars with them, but now seems majority of rare cars are on sale foe vouchers but not tokens like before

The addition of tokens is an amazing part of the game, however, it is extremely unfortunate that it once again focuses on class S. Another thing, which while it seems whiny and ungrateful, is my complaint about the number of tokens we receive. The entire point of tokens is for people to buy cars, and for beginner players, they obviously want class S cars for their gauntlet. I calculated and even if someone raced to elite league on the first day, it would take then a whopping 200+ DAYS TO GET 20,000 TOKENS. That is absurd. There is virtually no point anymore, as you might as well grind Multiplayer Badges or fusion coins instead. An incredibly easy solution is to implement tasks for people to use other classes and in turn they earn 2k tokens. So if they do that, one task for each class, they a player can earn a total of 11.3k tokens per season, which is reasonable, as it would now take about a month to get 20,000 tokens

Errr... no, buying S-class cars with tokens is not the entire point of them, especially for beginners. For instance - I've been back into A8 for less than 3 months. And the first thing I'm planning to spend 1,600 tokens once I get them is... +100 slots for my tiny inventory. If the new player likes (or at least don't mind) racing with bikes, he/she can also spend tokens on a decent bike, which opens the "Bikes Cup" as an option to earn some extra resources. As you mentioned, there are other ways to acquire S-class cars, so even if you wanna use tokens to buy one, 200-300 days of saving might be OK-ish (youngsters need to learn to be patient 🧘‍♂🧘‍♀😁). Let's face it - buying / acquiring a vehicle of certain class is the easier part (even if it is S-class). The harder part is to fully upgrade the said vehicle. So, by the time you have enough tokens, you will have the fuse coins + credits + parts + direct upgrades to upgrade at least two, even three S-class cars. You can buy one with badges too and fully upgrade both vehicles. With the leftover credits / fusion coins you'd probably buy and upgrade a couple A-class cars long before that time and a B-Class vehicle as well. That would make you very competitive in the gauntlet Champions League. Probably it is also good to mention that about 4 years ago, before I uninstalled the game, there were free tokens given in events, but almost always it was quite time consuming to get them. The amount that could be earned per week was around 300-400 tokens. The current option is actually a bit better in comparison. So, as a free-to-play windows old racer, I'd say that the amount of tokens that can be earned now is rather OK-ish IMHO, although (of course) it can always be tweaked for the better 😇 Stay safe and good luck to you 🍀

@@nikolalesov8359 thank you for the kind and respectful argument. I agree with your points, however i still believe that the amount of tokens should be increased. Because after 200 days of grinding, you would probably have acquired at least 2 s class cars and maxed them. I currently have 3 maxed s class cars, and a maxed A, but i am a pretty good racer so i was able to get the maximum rewards from the recent events. My point is that grinding for 2 months to get a c class car WITHOUT UPGRADES or grinding literally 4 months for a b class cars is still absurd, and other options are simply far more feasible. Why would you grind for 4 months to get a B class when you could grind for maybe a week or 2 and get one? It doesn't make sense. The token rewards are simply to small to do anything except maybe get some d class cars and to skip requirements in special events. Thank you again for your respectful response. Jesko price increased by $50 USD, Venom GT and Tuatara were credits before they were hidden (both are no good performing cars, with Venom GT only viable in sprints and gauntlet but the rest dead xd), Agera RS and AF10 were cheap to buy, Agera RS being $5 USD and AF10 for 7M fcs before it was off sale (both are still easy to be obtained with very hard grind in mp). Only good is actually CC850 being $50 USD less than it was once in TR LOL (which is actually hilarious xd). Tokens being free is good. Im taking advantage on this before GL might not do this for another several months LOL Changes are good, but some additional refinement would do great. I agree on this

I mean, it kinda makes sense to make tokens free, since there's already another P2W currency. To be honest, vouchers were never needed, but this has opened the door to tokens for free and that's cool to buy some "exclusive" cars and liveries

Sadly, that's just the way it is now with the tokens. But you should indeed be playing both multiplayer and gauntlet to grind for tokens. It's gonna take a while to save, but that's all we have for now

the only asphalt8\gameloft should fix now is the MP lags,too many times racers pushing me on different routes, stopping my drifts and causing wrecks only to see them lag and appear to be 5 car lengths ahead

People seem to think "fixing" MP is something that is doable. It's a game where each object (player) moves at tremendous speeds (much faster than most mobile racing games nowadays) and people are playing over unreliable wifi or mobile data. Of course there's going to be problems of synchronization. For MP to not have these issues, everyone should be in high speed wired connections. See the problem?
