But since his voice is low, he doesn't really want to risk his voice breaking during the high notes. But did you hear the last chorus? I was so proud to hear him sing the real notes :D

skean We're not saying that we miss the old TH because they aren't teenagers anymore. We know that nobody can be a teen forever and none of us has any problems about that. The problem is that the old and the new TH seem to be two completely different bands that only happen to share the same name. I've spent 9 years being their hardcore fan (2005-2014). And now I compare for example "Spring Nicht" to "girl got a gun" and honestly, it makes me want to cry. They didn't have to change like this. What has happened to them is not growing up, it's rather the opposite thing.

It's a playback perfomance, they recorded a live session in a studio dropping down 1 note on all instruments to sound more organic and rawness . There aren't microphones on the drum kit, as musician i can trust this but doesn't mean Tokio Hotel are bad musicians. No, they are great musicians and they're songs were an international success, but the tv shows can't loose time checking the sound or having technical problems, so then the artists must to use a track.

Criticati, bistrattati, definiti musica da bimbeminkia.. io da ragazzina ero loro fan sfegatata e vedendo le generazioni di adesso e le canzoni e gli artisti con cui crescono posso dire questo: i Tokio Hotel non sono certo né i Queen né i Pink Floyd, ma erano (e sono) musicisti di livello discreto, con testi abbastanza impegnati a livello di tematiche (amore, depressione, suicidio, disagi interiori, etc.), un tentativo di arrivare al cuore del pubblico c'era (nonostante un talento non eccelso, ma comunque le loro esibizioni live sono sempre state buone), ora i ragazzini crescono con canzoni trap che parlano solo di incitazione alla droga, sesso promiscuo, misoginia, illegalità.. non mi sembra che abbiamo fatto passi avanti, anzi..

At first I was impressed... yes it is live, and yes Bill hits the first 'yeah', and I had pretty much never heard him sing that live. But then I realised... they are performing this about a third of an octave lower than the CD version... Still, they were pretty tight in this. Can't fault them technically... I just wish Bill could really sing the way it is on the studio recording
