I was in my 8th grade German class when I first heard Tokio hotel and I thought Bill was a girl before the teacher showed us his face. And I couldn't believe how amazing he was at singing and how much emotion there was in all their songs. Last year I took a trip to Germany with my school on an exchange program. The girl I lived with got us tickets to go see one of their shows in Hamburg. We took the train that night and it was packed with TH fans. It was amazing. TH fur Immer~! ;)

Omg, I first heard of them in 8th grade in German class too! We had a lesson about them, a short text introducing the band. Our teacher said he was a huge fan and told us to listen to "Rette mich". So cool to know that someone else discovered them in a similar way like me❤

Gustav: we're here in Montreal for the first time. There is a lot of show and it's cold ... around ten degrees which feels REALLY cold! (Gustav: estamos aqui em Montreal pela primeira vez. (Entrevistador: Você quer dizer menos dez, não é? Gustav: Claro, menos dez. Amigo, filmar a paisagem ...) ... over there with all the snow! (... ali com toda a neve!) I like it here - mainly because there are beautiful girls and i mean really beautiful girls! (Eu gosto daqui - principalmente porque tem garotas lindas e eu quero dizer garotas muito bonitas!) You should film the ladies in the lobby ... WOW! (Você deve filmar as senhoras no lobby ... WOW!) Bill: Guys, what do i have to do? I have to announce the winning video on a live TV show? (Bill: Gente, o que eu tenho que fazer? Eu tenho que anunciar o vídeo vencedor em um programa de TV ao vivo?) TH Staff: Yes, there will be a winning video which was determind by the audience's votes and you'll have to announce it at the end. (TH Staff: Sim, haverá um vídeo vencedor que foi determinado pelos votos do público e você terá que anunciá-lo no final.) Tom: ... it's a LIVE TV show. Bill: Should i announce it in German? (Tom: ... é um programa de TV ao vivo. Bill: Devo anunciar em alemão?) in English i can only say: "The last video is ..." (em inglês eu só posso dizer: "O último vídeo é ...") Tom: Just say "Tokio Hotel with Monsoon" and then they show Britney Spears with "Piece of Me" ;-) (Tom: Apenas diga "Tokio Hotel com Monsoon" e então eles mostram Britney Spears com "Piece of Me" ;-)) Interviewer: Where is your room? Tom: Over there. (Entrevistador: Onde fica seu quarto? Tom: Lá.) Tom: Awesome, isn't it. Interviewer: It's really small ;-) Mine is three times as big! (Tom: Incrível, não é? Entrevistador: É bem pequeno ;-) O meu é três vezes maior!) Tom: But i got the terrific view from the window! (Tom: Mas eu tenho a vista fantástica da janela!) Tom: Our success is as mysterious for us it is for anybody else ... so far, we haven't really found a good explanation for it. (Tom: Nosso sucesso é tão misterioso para nós como é para qualquer outra pessoa ... até agora, não encontramos uma boa explicação para isso.) We were born and raised in Magdeburg, Germany which isn't one of the world's biggest cities. (Nascemos e crescemos em Magdeburg, na Alemanha, que não é uma das maiores cidades do mundo.) For us, it was already such a BIG deal to become successfull in Germany alone. (Para nós, já era um grande negócio para se ter sucesso apenas na Alemanha.) To become so popular in France, in all the other European countries, and even Israel as time passed, was just ... (Se tornar tão popular na França, em todos os outros países europeus, e mesmo em Israel com o passar do tempo, foi só ...) ... really surprising - to us and everybody else! It's incredible and we are so happy about it. (... realmente surpreendente - para nós e todos os outros! É incrível e estamos muito felizes com isso.) Tom: It must have been particularly difficult for Bill as the singer since the water was freezing cold ... (Tom: Deve ter sido particularmente difícil para Bill como o cantor, já que a água estava gelada ...) it was shocking when the water hit us! We put a lot of time in planning the whole EMA performance and it wasn't easy! (Foi chocante quando a água nos atingiu! Nós colocamos muito tempo no planejamento de todo o desempenho do EMA e não foi fácil!) The entire stage consisted of thousands of little LED lights so it was quite a challenge to creat indoor rain on the stage! (A etapa inteira consistiu em milhares de pequenas luzes LED, por isso foi um grande desafio criar a chuva interior no palco!) but in the end it all worked out. (mas no final tudo deu certo.) Georg: Luckily for us it did since the final rehearsal for the show was a disaster. (Georg: Felizmente para nós desde que o ensaio final para o show foi um desastre.) Bill: Our success still feels very fresh ... we've only been on the road and sold so many records over the last ... (Bill: Nosso sucesso ainda é muito novo ... nós só estivemos na estrada e vendemos tantos discos nos últimos ...) two and a half years and we enjoy every last second of all it. It has been an incredible experience so far - (dois anos e meio e aproveitamos cada segundo de tudo isso. Foi uma experiência incrível até agora -) we are having the time of our life! Hopefully it will continue this way and we'll get the opportunity to visit more ... (nós estamos tendo o tempo da nossa vida! Espero que continue assim e teremos a oportunidade de visitar mais ...) countries in the future and living out our dream. (países no futuro e vivendo o nosso sonho.) Bill: Being compared with the Beatles is awesome. None of us would ever compare our band with legends like the Beatles. (Bill: Ser comparado com os Beatles é incrível. Nenhum de nós jamais compararia nossa banda com lendas como os Beatles.) But being compared with other legendary acts makes us really proud ... that's basically the best compliment ... (Mas ser comparado com outros atuantes lendários nos deixa muito orgulhosos ... é basicamente o melhor elogio ...) ... a band can receive. (... que uma banda pode receber.)
