The truth is that Tokio Hotel appeared at the time that many of us were teenagers, and some of us with different problems like bullying, family problems, homosexuality, etc.. and they've helped SO many persons in different ways. Everyone has a favorite group when we are young. TH's boys were young like us and write about things that we actually understand or go beyond. No one can understand that unless you are a BIG fan.

to anyone who has/had suicidal thoughts, i just wanted to tell you, i am here for you.. to anyone who has/had suicidal thoughts, i know people suck and the world is not perfect at all, but if you are older, you will realize that you are happy and that you didn't even wanna k!ll yourself.. if your older you will realize that you became stronger because of all the pain. you guys with suicidal thoughts are the strongest people on the world, you are gonna come trough it even if it doesn't seem like it. dont harm yourself.. if you wanna vent or scream or if you want to curse, please do. tell someone about it even if it is hard. i have had suicidal thoughts for over 5 years and i came trough it, i stayed alive for my family, friends, people online, you. you guys will come trough it. really. I'm proud of you for walking this road, you will survive and you are tough. i beg you guys.. please dont k!ll yourself. your family, friends, (if you have them) there are so many people that love you and will cry so damn much if you kill yourself. it may not seem like it, but people care. i care. you guys are strong and i will pray for you..

Not going to lie but... This band, specifically this song helped me through tough times when I was just so sick of my life and just wanted to die. I was 15. I'm 21 now feeling much happier with myself all thanks to them. So I have their logo with angel wings on the back of my neck as a constant reminder to myself that I am a suicide survivor. I had to luck of being able to meet them, show them my tattoo, and thanking them for everything they do which made them so proud. I think people have the right to say what they want about them good or bad, but they'll never understand that I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them. You can call me whatever but I learned to love myself a lot more because of them.

One of my closest friends died a month ago due to suicide; I found out that she had jumped off her balcony. This song came up on my playlist the day after, while I was on the bus on my way to school. I thought deeply about the lyrics, what would have happened had I been there, next to her in her final moments. I’ve been grieving over her death with this song ever since, wondering to myself what would have happened had I told her to not jump - had I been there to comfort her. I truly understand the meaning of this song now.

So, all I can say is that I wasn't alive in the 2000s sadly, but I still grew up listening to them. Although, I proudly miss the 2000s from every single point of view, better lives, better people, better music, everything was so much better, and one of the reasons I miss the 2000s are them. Yes, they're still such a beautiful band but still, they would've hit different in the 2000s, I still watch their interviews, tours, concerts and pretty much everything, and why? Because they changed me and my life, when no one was there for me, they were, when no one understood me, they were, and as I was reading the comments I can clearly see they helped a lot of other people even back then, and it's not surprising, they really are a comforting band. Also, some people in my class kinda make fun of me because I'm listening to such an 'emo band' but they're never gonna know how much this helped me, and to be honest it makes me so mad when they start judging they're looks and their music...just not fair. But still, even if the Tokio Hotel phase might've ended for a lot people, I still find my comfort in them.

Questa canzone è stata la mia infanzia e adolescenza. La riascolto ora dopo tanto tempo. Ho i brividi e le lacrime minacciano di scendere. Troppi ricordi. Grazie per esserci sempre stati ragazzi. E grazie per essere tornati

ima be honest, I know this comments new and what not, but that’s not the point, I mean i’ve always listened to tokio hotel my entire life. it holds a special place in my heart that’ll never be broken. in 2009 when me and brother were little, we loved tokio hotel, now i’m turning 20 soon, and my brothers still stuck when we were 14. tokio hotel really helped so much, so did so many other bands. because I remember how it looked, seeing it in the music video of seeing him just dead. laying on the pavement. and that night, being so horrible, almost taking my life shortly after. but I thank tokio hotel for not doing the same. I miss him, deeply, but he’s happier. thank you tokio hotel. and anyone else, please stay strong through it. because this solution is permanent… I love you all, thank you again tokio hotel. and please, don’t. jump.

When I can't sleep because I think too much, I look for "dont jump" and watch this video clip. They saved me which is an understatement. Their songs are always present in my life, even as lullabies.

Listening to this brings back so many memories. This was the very first song by them I ever listened to, I think 6 years ago. And although my music taste has changed drastically since then, there will always be a place in my heart for these guys & all the happiness they used to bring me :) Fan for life.

I listened to this song every single time I attempted to take my life ... and every single time it saved me. I pushed everyone I loved away from me and bills voice was the last one standing everytime 💜 if you’re out there listening to this song for the same reason. Listen and understand some day you’ll look back that you survived From a survivor it gets a whole lot better 💜💜💜💜

One of the best songs ever performed. It's about you and me and facing our troubles, figuring out how to change, and having or finding the courage to do so. Bill faces himself in this video, that is what is genious about this very difficult subject matter, he made people think, like myself. Don't Jump.

It's such a shame Tokio Hotel isn't as popular as Ariana Grande or One Direction. They are clearly better than the music that's playing today. And is it me or does the old Tokio Hotel has an Avril Lavigne/Paramore vibe to them?
