Toko 4750 #5: Blanket Change

I miss the ancient era when slot bars were in use, you could change a blanket in about one minute, I think there were about six slots. so damn easy and fast. The slot bars also had plate clamps and we had metal plates to fit. I miss the old days. Like my mother says as time goes on you can't have it the easy way, now everything has to be hard and shitty. I used to dread replacing the blanket on a 1650 Multi, so many damn pin heads. I truly miss the slot bars, never mind that it was a superior way to do things but for the sake of change we have to deal with this nonsense. Just because something is new doesn't make it better. Sigh, guess I'm just an old Printer, forgive my rant. I know these pin bars aren't new, but they are new to me and I never liked them, a whole lot of time to do something so simple and they had to make it more time consuming and more vexing. I guess I miss the old days when things worked even better and for the sake of change they went and changed things, never mind that some old ways were more convenient and more productive. Got to have change though, that's what matters!
