I preordered Tokyo Clanpool on day one. I have basically divorced myself from Nintendo America, and EU games due to their censorship. I don't believe in censorship and as I have said before in 2024 95% of my purchased games have been asian titles. I am almost entirely Play Asia only and sometimes I order from VGP. The only way censorship will stop is by using the power of your purse. I am disappointed by the New Nintendo America and EU guidelines. Let a player play if you want our money. I can't wait to get my physical copy of the Tokyo Clanpool game. Viva Free Gaming !!!!

In the early years of the Switch, Nintendo really seemed like the good guy, they had turned around quite a bit from their previous stances in quite a lot of ways. But then they gradually turned back to their old selves again. I'm also starting to wonder if I'll even want to get the Switch 2 anymore.

Just look at Death End Re;Quest Code Z and the Neptunia Riders vs. Dogoos Swimsuit DLC which were banned on Switch but even Sony has let it on its console. Neptunia Re;Birth Trilogy has been all over for years and was rated T yet Switch banned it. Things are going in a bad direction.

Not that I know for certain, but I’ve seen elsewhere that what’s happening here (and with neptunia) is not Nintendo’s call, and that makes some sense. Not sure the public ever gets the full story when you’re talking about corporate decisions, NDAs, etc. Either way, that limited edition that’s been stewing in my cart might be about to get checked out. Gamble on a Christmas sale? Probably not I would think 🤔

Nintendo isn't banning shit. The publisher just isn't releasing them, probably because of ESRB and PEGI age rating changes putting them into a category that would make it more expensive to release than they'd get back in sales because of the vastly restricted marketing audience.

I'm someone who would love to buy it, but if they're only doing limited physical releases with about 3000-5000 copies tops I'm bit concerned I might not even get a copy. This situation is stupid feeling though with this game as Omega Life Labyrinth is also on the Switch with over $45 of DLC almost and I have understood that version of that particular game isn't the censored one compared to its PlayStation copies.

It seems Nintendo is regressing back towards heavily censorship 80s, early 90s years. This has also affected Neptunia series with a trilogy of games being cancelled and now freaking swimsuits of all things from Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos, like have any of these idiots forcing all this amazingly stupid censoring ever been to an actual beach before. I also cannot understand the pure bias hypocrisy against Asian media as you rarely ever see western made games get censored/banned, which allow actual nudity, extreme hyper realistic violence and gore. As mostly a JRPG fan nowadays I currently went from being extremely exited for upcoming Switch 2 to now seriously questioning even getting one now going PC only. I still hope that there is more to all this current fiasco, but it seem like old puritanical Nintendo of America is sadly back. Looking more likely I'm officially done with Nintendo and I've never forgiven the American branch for initially trying to sabotage Xenoblade, which has now become a critically celebrated IP.

I love dungeon crawlers and the graphics overall look good on this, but the loli part is very iffy. If I bought it I'd only do so to support games to not be censored, but it having loli content, I don't think I'd actually play it.

It's something that definitely got banned on Steam first. Nintendo followed suit only for the western release. So... Maybe blame the game rating systems that use massive ban powers to use things unreleasable first and definitely find a way to PC this one.
