TOKYO | Crazy Second-hand Luxury Bag Fair

Hi! Join us in another Tokyo vlog where we visited the Shicchy second-hand luxury bag convention. The convention is held twice a year during June and December. Bags are from big brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès. We saw some Birkin Bags and many LV monochrome pattern bags/wallets.
We didn't buy anything ourselves but it was definitely an experience. The convention was really crowded and people were snatching up bags like crazy! There were also several sellers doing live stream.

Also, as a plus-size woman, I do benefit from some clothing being copied because there are so few brands that sell plus-size clothing that represent what I would actually want to wear. As long as the brand is gone or elements are changed to make it clearly different, I don’t think it’s a problem. Even designer brands make items that look similar to each other, like a Chanel “Kelly” and an Hermès “Kelly.” No one will notice that your bag is from *esluxy* .

I definitely Loved the video it’s really good!!! I have to say imo, I understand why people say they wouldn’t care about people buying dupes or fakes or why should people care. BUT, It’s not that necessarily people “care” about people having fakes, it’s the fact that people that have money to buy into luxury and invest it’s for a reason. Quality, quantity, and yes buying luxury as exclusivities. I inspected every aspect of the bag and everything from the stitching to the hardware looked top notch. The leather was soft, the logo embossed precisely, and even the lining felt luxurious. It was hard to believe that this wasn't a *esluxy* LV Nano bag.

I saw the thumbnail and I had to tune in to see this beauty. I'm planning for my next *esluxy* . I can't decide if I want the Pochette Metis or some other type of LV with a strap. I own the Speedy 30 and would love a crossbody on the lighter days. For now I carry my LV Zippy wallet as a clutch when I don't want to carry my Speedy. Black Birkin bag, this is my first good choice. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to date a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = $1000 max) imagine paying $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary. Might as well use the money to buy a few more *esluxy* .

My Chanel SA told me they are raising prices to discourage reselling. Prices in the UK have increased by 64%, which is crazy to me and I will not be buying any bags from them anytime soon. I feel their prices are too high right now and I have been buying Chanel recently at *esluxy* .

I have two pre-loved *esluxy* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

I think one of the biggest arguments against fakes is that it takes business away from brands, but I disagree. Great bag! I looked closely at the stitching and just needed to cut a few threads off. *esluxy* does this very well. The quality is amazing. The pattern is very, very close to the real thing. The biggest difference I see is the pattern on the back. The alignment of the logo is a little higher than the authentic stuff. I found that if you use a hair dryer to remove the stickers, they come off easily without tearing. The chain could be a little heavier. I recommend looping the chain a few times and wearing it around your wrist rather than your shoulder.
