These sculptural plants are wonderful. Thank you for showing how you are caring for them and giving them new mounts. The cork is a great idea. Is funny though, here in Australia I have always called these plants Elk horn. The Stag horn plant here only has one single very large leaf, and Elk horn has multiple leaves like yours. I love them both

Thank you for your comment! Talking about its name, in japanese we also have several ways to call this type of plants and one of name which seems equivalent to "staghorn ferns" indicates any kind of platycerium for our understanding so we thought the name "staghorn ferns" means same way as in japanese. But yes as you said, staghorn is for superbum and elkhorn is for bifrucatum. Thanks for letting us know, now we understand english name better! In this video it was about Platycerium Veitchii and Bifurcatum🌿

I dip them in water for about 10min when their base moss get dry. If you want, we’ve made a bit of video of how we water them in our weekend morning vlog🌿

Very inspiring! Is it a special japanese technique/tradition of inserting plant cuttings into bark? I saw something simmilar but with various plant cuttings in Kyoto's flea market thery were fascinating and I wished I knew better japanese to ask the seller about them. Keep up with these great videos!
