Tokyo Disneyland's Country Bear Jamboree

My one visit to Tokyo Disneyland in 1990 was at a time when the original program had been replaced in Florida by Vacation Hoedown, and it was a real surprise to see the original program and then hear the songs in English! But I think logistically it would have been impossible to do the songs in Japanese because you would have had to overlay Japanese translation singing over the original music sessions from 1970 to do that. At any rate, I found myself wondering how the typical Japanese who doesn't understand English reacts to this program (or "Haunted Mansion" where one hears the same English speaking from the ghosts!).

and then just 4 short years after your visit to Tokyo, they added "Vacation" tho their Repetoire. they are incredibly lucky to get all 3 shows seasonally and Florida only shows the original year round (and heavily butchered as of October 2012)

Only henry and Wendell's songs plus all the spoken dialog are done in Japanese . all of the other song done in English

Well next year at Tokyo Disneyland they’re planning to close the Country Bear’s Jubilee forever on November 4th 2019.
