We don't have Disney in our country but I've been to Disneyland HK few times and Tokyo Disneysea once. My tip is start at the farthest because usually first timers get overwhelmed easily and will queue on the first attraction they see. Second tip is when you reach there early, start with the most popular attraction because later in the day, it will have longer queue. Third tip, find the park's map online and plan your itinerary ahead because if you plan on the same day, you will be wasting a lot of time. Hope that helps 😊

I've been to all 12 Disney Parks in the world. Tokyo Disney Resort is the best run parks and the Japanese people are the best park guests I've ever seen. I can't wait to go back to Tokyo one day soon. Great video.
@madisoned6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing! As someone who doesn't have the means to travel to all the Disney Parks, I have been wondering that myself. How do you feel about Tokyo Disney Sea? Since it's exclusive to Japan, it might be difficult to compare but where would you rank that comparing to the other Disney parks?
@TYOrder16 жыл бұрын
@@madisoned Thanks! I was lucky enough to visit all the Asian Disney parks earlier in the year and was recently at Paris. Tokyo DisneySea is the best park on the planet. The attention to detail is next level. The only Disney park that has this level of theme and execution is parts of Disneyland (Anahiem) and Animal Kingdom. Those are the top three parks in the world as of today, imo. TDS lands are so immersive, so impressive that the attractions and shows are just an added bonus. Journey to the Center of the earth and that entire section of the park are worth a trip alone. Hopefully you can make the trip there one day. It is easier than most people realize with some research and planning!
@madisoned6 жыл бұрын
@@TYOrder1 Wow, that sounds amazing. All the videos I've seen online about Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea were all so beautiful, I believe it when you say that the sights alone are worth the visit. I visited Japan 2 years ago but there was so much to do and so little time! It's funny because I took a Willer overnight bus from Osaka to Tokyo and almost every single person on the bus was going to Tokyo Disneyland! The reason I knew was because they were all carrying Duffy! I almost wanted to tag along and not get off the bus at Tokyo station :D

any tips please
@lunisza4 ай бұрын
@@reshmaupreti it changed so much after four years, I’ve visited there again this year and the app makes your day easier. There’s this new attraction inside which is so crowded so better book the most crowded ride (if you want to try it) and then while waiting for the time, try the rides or the attractions that aren’t crowded.
@alskndlaskndal6 жыл бұрын
We were at Disneysea last Thursday and it was CRAZY busy, to the point where it was kind of exhausting dealing with the crowds all day. I wouldn't recommend going Christmas week, but that was when we were in Tokyo! The most popular rides had 2+ hour waits and sold out of Fastpasses early so we only did one of the real "E ticket" rides (Indiana Jones, which was awesome). Still a fun day doing the smaller rides and just wandering around seeing the amazing theming. My top tips based on my experience: 1) Get there EARLY. The earliest shuttle bus from our hotel got there at like 10:30, we should have taken the train in the morning. 2) Get a Fastpass immediately for a must-see ride with a long line (use an online line estimator, which you can find in English) then go to another must-see ride with a shorter line (lines only get longer and Fastpasses can sell out before you have a chance to come back). 3) Bring snacks. You'll get hungry walking around and the lines can be long even for churros and popcorn.

Regarding the Priority Access passes; we were trapped on an attraction during a break down for about 10-15 mins before we were evacuated so they gave me and my husband one each. We finally used them a few months later during our last trip to TDS and the CM there did actually ask us where we got it from. So yes please be aware of this :)

My top tip for Disney Sea (my favourite park) is: Skip the mad bull run in the morning for the Toy Story fast passes - unless you don't mind being crushed and really want to get on this ride. Instead, I would totally get the fast passes for Tower of Terror (which is usually quieter) and then make a beeline to Journey to the Centre of the Earth and hop in the standby line (still pretty short in the morning). I did this last time and it meant I did two of the major rides (ToT and JttCotE) before 11am, freeing up my time for the rest of the rides and shows. I was able to go back later in the day to try my luck with the standby line and managed to get a shorter wait time (about 2 hours)
@tantohalim6 жыл бұрын
some additional tips from me: 1. bring your own bottled water, and fill it inside the park, they have many drinking fountain inside the disneysea such as outside of the toilet (not sure about disneyland), sometimes it is literary next to a cart that sells drinks! 2. buy food or snack from the convenience store (yes I know the vid talked about that), but I can't stress it highly enough. it will be very crowded on lunch or dinner time, or you are stuck in a 2 hours line and hungry, or you can skip lunch or dinner altogether and eat your food that you prepared to maximize your time to ride attractions 3. Most of the time, the timer lies at you. when they said 60 minutes waiting time, it is actually close to 45 minutes. or 120 minutes will be only like 90 minutes wait. 4. prepare yourself for the nightshow, check the time and which part is the front part, because that is the intended way to see the show. come early for better place to view the show 5. go and check each store, some stores might be different one to another
@missconi19825 жыл бұрын
do they allow to bring food from outside? that's awesome. Plus the convenience stors in Japan have really good stuff

@tantohalim7 ай бұрын
@@neurodivajewelz yeah, now they don't allow food from outside.. except you hide it deep enough, I put it in the deepest part of my bag and had clothes covering it, they don't seem to check it that thoroughly (I went to usj and tokyo disney land / sea last year. Disney land denied me from bringing food, so I hide it inside my bag lol). Universal studio seems ok with me bringing food though (again, put it deep inside your bag and cover it just in case).

I went back in late may 2017, during the weekday. when going to disneysea i suggest doing Toy Story Mania first then either go to Center of the earth or Pooh Hunny hunt, also when i went nemo searider just opened and wait times spiked to around 1.5- 2hours but during lunch time (12pm) the line wait dropped to around 50 mins also as a first time visitor when going to the toy story mania. do not go to the left hand side queue, when we got to the front we realized it was a fast pass queue. I ended up not using any fast passes. on average the popular rides were around a 40 - 50 min wait i didn't plan on going to Tokyo Disneyland, but decided to on another day. didn't buy tickets in advanced just bought tickets at the gate. Didn't actually check the operating times for the day and ended up coming to the park one hour early. I'm pretty sure the wait times are depending on the month. i have heard or read that the park can be extremely busy

When I went in March Indiana Jones ride was like 20 to 30 minutes with single pass but Raging Spirtis was like 2 hours mainly because the operators where not putting on single riders and leaving the spare seats empty. I have a tip for tourist to get cheaper tickets and safe. You can try to get tickets from sites like traveloka, i bought it there and it saves me around 300yen, you can get the ticket at the other exit of maihama station(not the disney exit). It is safe because the company that bought those tickets purchase "group tickets" which is actually cheaper. Also if you want to safe money but still eat disney foods, go to restaurants that sell burgers! it is not that expensive actually especially if you did not get the set menu! In DisneySea, foods in cape cod cook-off are not expensive (min. 500 yen i think) ! also you can eat while watching shows there !!!!! so it is a good deal. I hope those helps too!

@@TheDigitalPanther going to have to disagree with you there. That’s fine if you don’t mind waiting hours for a ride, or don’t care about rides/shows, but if you want to to get the most out of your trip it’s best to plan ahead. Disney isn’t your typical theme park, and it’s not smart to rely on “luck”-especially if you end up going on a busy day.

Why?

Best time to ride is during night electric parade since everyone will likely watching the show.

One frustrating tip, only certain foreign credit cards are accepted on the Japanese Disney web site to buy tickets. At least this is what I found. Tried my Visa, MC, and Amex to no avail. You have to have enroll your card with an additional level of security. To make matters worse, not all cards are enrollable. I even called customer service and they confirmed that most foreign credit cards are no longer accepted. So ended up buying tickets at the Shibuya Disney Store. Might actually be a better alternative since you get the actual ticket rather than a voucher which you have to turn in for a ticket.

That does sound frustrating. Good tip.

The same thing happened to me! It was super frustrating. Also, their online ordering site doesn't work on mobile devices (and even if you brought your laptop on your trip, you need a printer for the tickets). We ended up just using the machine at Family Mart. It's all in Japanese but pretty easy to figure out, just look for the picture of Disneyland and look for the price that matches the ticket you want (i.e., the line labeled 7700 yen is the adult ticket). For some reason the guy at Family Mart didn't let us use our credit card there either, but we just paid cash. The tickets you get have a QR code so you can walk right up to the entry gates at the park.
