I've honestly been considering re-reading Tokyo Ghoul. It was the second-ever manga/anime thing I did (read the series first) and I loved the storytelling. The struggles of Kaneki, how he found out who he really was. How he did a lot of it alone and became much stronger. I've always loved Tokyo Ghoul. I saw there were a lot of messages that Sui Ishida-san wanted to convey. It's a shame, the anime doesn't match. All perfect. This OST is beautiful, suits Touken so well! No matter what I read, watch, Tokyo Ghoul will always be my most favorite, it had everything I needed. Hoping for a proper adaptation someday in the future. It hurts so much me that I can't talk proudly about my most favorite manga's adaptation... AoT was so close to being what Tokyo Ghoul was for me! The Tokyo Ghoul manga is truly peak fiction. I used to hold Attack on Titan in almost the same regard before that ending. Tokyo Ghoul is and will always remain the GOAT manga. (Alongside Berserk perhaps, I haven't read it but I hear it's amazing)

A lot of fan theories came true, such as Eren causing the death of his mother and Mikasa killing him(it was in one of the music videos). A lot of fans were right on the mark although they wished they were wrong. The writing quality dropped sognificantly during the Marley arc. The only things carrying the show were Reiner and Eren's character development. Everything else was thrown aside. It was still good but it wasn't the masterpiece from pre time skip. And the last 15 chapters felt like a trash american comic book. Tokyo Ghoul is a thousands times better. Nah nvm, they are not even on the same spectrum at this point.

@@WGandH god i hated aot's ending. isayama honestly fucked up the entire rumbling arc. so much shit that doesn't make sense, so many character assassinations(in terms of writing), power of friendship bullshit, etc. 3/4th of the story laid the foundation for a masterpiece, but it seems like isayama got overwhelmed. he has stated in an interview that he changed the ending due to how popular the show got, which just makes me sad. sad to see an author get scared of criticism.

Here’s a little story not that it matters One day I told my cousin what is that called (Keep in mind we were watching TV) We’ve seemed to love these cartoons and she tells me it’s called anime.
