Went to Japan back in 2016, will visit again for the Expo 2025. When I get there, will Rent a car and drive around at night listening to this! Japan is truly the most underrated country when it comes to travel list.

Nice video. I just stumbled onto this channel because I recently got interested in japanese driving videos. Japan is definitely a place I plan on visiting, including Tokyo. The highways/expressways there are amazing compared to the ones where I am (USA) By far, one of my favorite things on Japan's expressways in Tokyo, are those amazing signs that kinda resemble a map of the section you are at (the ones that have a bunch of black lines that go off in different directions). The amazing thing about those black lines is they light up yellow or red depending on traffic congestion. So if you know the layout of the expressways, you can use those signs to your advantage to take an alternate route, if available. I wonder if only Tokyo has those signs, or if they are present in other parts of Japan?

@onorebakasama Don't worry, expressways in Tokyo have anti-sismic hydraulic springs on each steel column which are by the way made with special composition metals and flexible material to move along with the tremor and decrease the shock waves over the structure. Similar systems are implemented each time a big building is constructed as well. Kawai =D

I have been looking everywhere for something this amazing! Thank you so much for providing it. Ever since I saw Gorillaz "Tomorrow Comes Today", I wanted a trance video with nothing but night time freeway time lapse shots from the view of the care. It's basically what I use a reference for futuristic freeways and high ways. I've already ripped this because I'll probably be using your videos to relax to from now on.

good to know you're safe, just saw a video of a japanese kid filming when the quake happened and it was pretty scary, the quake was big in his region and yea, it's a little scary living there if u remind yourself that Japan if the most active earthquake country on the planet (from what i know). i've never been in an earthquake and i hope i'll never be in one cause it's freaking scary. sorry for the long reply, thnx for answering and i hope u have a nice day tomorrow since now it's 3 am in Japan.

I just love how every driver, drives with precission and fluidity. No one drives like a jackass like they do in the states. And the patch work of the highways are top notch. Japan must take pride in their roads Vs. the U.S with ours.

@alienufoweird Thank you. It shook a little also in the place where I lived. I am safe. The place where I live now is said that the large earthquake will occur surely in the near future and exists. Kiyoko504 Not sure if you already know but there are a series of driving games available that are based on the highways in Tokyo (Shutoko Battle). only problem is that the last one was released in 2006. If you have a look on Wikipedia you should be able to find a list of the games and the platforms they're available for. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shutokou_Battle_series. If it helps, the first one on the dreamcast, Zero on PS2 and the one on the Xbox 360 are all very good :)
@Kiyoko5049 жыл бұрын
grubby05 But most of those games are Japan release only unless you special order them, and even then the data read on on American systems is different then Japanese, like I would love too order a copy of The Idle M@ster 1 and 2 but I'm not sure if they would be a waist of my money if they don't play on my 360

There were some Wangan Midnight games (for ps2 and arcade) that I really liked. I don't know if the ps2 version was sold in the US but it may have been. If you have a whopping pile of money you could get a pair of arcade machines or if you're lucky some may still be operational in your area but it would take some searching to find it/them. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wangan_Midnight#Video_games
