Tokyo Marui AKX quick overview, teardown, AKM triggerbox swap

Just to set some expectations this video will cover some of the "quick" upgrades I've made to the AKX which are transferrable from the AKM, the design intentions with reference to the GHK 74U and also the TM AK Storm. Quick overview of the AKX, apologies for speaking fast as I need to get this video in on a work week evening and don't have much time lately to create new content. I shot this video completely unplanned lol
I'm not going to do a range test since the inner barrel and hopup group are identical to the AKM so you should refer to existing testing done of the AKM by others such as BadaBing and the Japanese reviews.
Instead, I'm going to look into the triggerbox compatibility and the bolt carrier to see if these are drop in fits with the AKM; they are.
Since the grip anchor is a single piece with the rear trunnion with the dust cover fastening screw, you will have to use a slightly longer bolt but not too long as the screw threads is only provisioned by a nut rather than being tapped into the anchor itself. For the Magpul grips, you need to replace the screw with a M5 bolt with 20mm of screw thread length.
Note: The AKX is not a chassis system as it would imply a monolithic design of a handguard + dust cover or at least a cantilever rail section. Examples of AK chassis systems include the Sureshot Armament Group Mk2, Mk3 chassis for AK and the CAA XRS47 rail system. The AKX is a combination of a railed dust cover and a rear sight block with a native picatinny interface, the front rail system is still a complete standalone
