Wow! Thank you again! Mitake walking tour is one of the best nature walks in autumn that I had seen! Amazingly beautiful! Will try to go there soon, and follow your route! I love autumn! 😊❤

In my view, this spot is among Tokyo’s best for autumn scenery. Filming rules I set require covering all directions around the station, resulting in less scenic paths at times. Still, Mitake Gorge, with its stunning autumn colors, is just a two-minute walk from the station 😊

Thank you for the comment. Hopefully, the sound of flowing water and the natural scenery from the walk came through in the video. The aim is to share small glimpses of everyday surroundings like this in future videos as well.

What a gorgeous place! It's really hard to believe it's so close to Tokyo... Do you know what the pipeline at 50:20 carries? It's enormous; I don't think I've ever seen one that size.

Curiosity led to a search before, but no information was found. Given the presence of such a large pipe in Tokyo, it seems strange that there wouldn't be any information about it.

@@walkjapan_ It really does... Hm. Well, the fact that there's no information *is* information, in a way; maybe it's something too important to identify in public materials? Thank you for checking! Edit: I found the pipeline on Google Maps, and the building across the highway that it leads to is labeled as the 東京都交通局多摩川第三発電所, so it must be something to do with power generation. Since the pipeline runs down the hill toward the river, and since signs in the park warn about occasional abrupt surges of water from the power plant, I would imagine it's carrying water that's used in the process of generating electricity from somewhere in the mountains to the plant. ...But that last part is just a guess.

Thank you for checking. The footage from 57:24 appears to show the Tamagawa Third Power Plant, and since it's a hydroelectric plant, I believe that’s correct. However, I am concerned that the pipeline does not appear on my Google Maps. I tried both the English and Japanese versions and zoomed in and out, but there was no trace of the pipeline. Additionally, I can see a water-colored circle that looks like a puddle between Sawanoi Mitake Field(御岳倶楽部 ) and the Tamagawa Third Power Station(多摩川第三発電所 ), but was the pipeline labeled on your Google Maps?
@ShinnoEli14 сағат бұрын
@@walkjapan_ No, the pipeline wasn't labeled at all, just the power station. That area is in shadow, so it's super-hard to see; I was using another map service that had a better image, but I can't remember which site it was. >_

Recently, a Kiyose video was uploaded on another channel, so it's good to know. Regardless of requests, all areas of Tokyo are planned to be filmed, and if the timing works, it will be filmed here as well.
