22:25 That tanuki interaction looked incredible for some reason. The sudden appearance of the tanuki, coupled with the smooth zoom of the camera felt like a side quest in a video game!

A small piece of information - Nerima City, a central, yet beautifully green neighborhood, is well known among anime fans as the birthplace of the industry. It's home to multiple production studios, and evidence of that heritage can be found throughout this part of Tokyo. The surrounding area has several parks and gardens, including Hikarigaoka Park and Makino Memorial Garden.

With the countless hours of Rambalacs walks that I have enjoyed, it still tickles me that Japan still has community notice boards for people to put up flyers and other notices, like the one on the corner at 25:12
@CasualTS2 жыл бұрын
If my neighborhood had one of those it would be full of home remodeler and tree trimmer ads :/
@bandiceet2 жыл бұрын
@@CasualTS Here, in Australia, there aren't many left, which ones that have survived are in some of the smaller supermarkets that tout themselves as "supporting the locals", and typically you need to hand in your flyer to the service counter to get it pre-approved to go onto the board. Though yeah, it is mostly tree trimmers, electricians and mobile car mechanics.

Another great walk through Japan, thanks to the good work of Rambalac, sometimes he asked me watching your videos, from the information I have collected, Japan has 125.8 million inhabitants and in the case of the city you walked in today's video , Nerima, has about 700 thousand inhabitants and here is my question how on several occasions I see that you walk through streets absolutely alone with very few people and cats playing around... So that mystery is another thing besides beauty of its constructions and nature call my attention to Japan. Greetings Rambalac...🇯🇵🇨🇱

Love how peaceful your walks are. And I love that you saw a Tanuki! :D Funny enough, to this day, when I see Nerima I still think of the manga/anime Ranma 1/2. In fact, Shakuji-Koen Park is what inspired the artist for her park scenes. Very awesome. Thanks for this!

The first place I moved too when arriving in Japan in 2007. Not much has changed save for the huge Life supermarket and a big UNIQLO. Only thing that sucked was the 3am alerts to fly out of YOKOTA . I had no car so I would stay on base due to lack of transportation after 12am, it was so worth it. Great restaurants and night life. Now I’m on the Chuo line by Nakano it’s a lot easier.
