Tokyo Vlog | Zipair, APA Hotel, Shopping at Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya

We went on a trip to Tokyo, Japan! We went from 24-28 June and had a really good experience flying Zipair, which is Japan's budget airline. We stayed at APA Hotel Nishi Shinjuku. Our two main goals of the trip were to shop and eat, so we didn't sightsee much. Tokyo is great for shopping but if you want to sightsee, you'd probably like Osaka and Kyoto. We felt safe walking around at night, and you don't have to beware of pickpockets even on crowded trains. The service in Japan is great as well - the Japanese are very respectful people. Everything from the airport to the city was super efficient. This is my third time in Japan and I would definitely visit again!

What was the name of the restaurant that it look authentic that you mention ? And the store name you bought the make up? Any taxi around the street?

The udon restaurant is called Sato Yosuke Ginza Inaniwa Udon, the makeup store is Cosme (but we preferred shopping at random drug stores like Tomod’s instead, sometimes you get better deals there). Lots of taxis on the street (red means the taxi can pick up passengers, green means it is occupied) but we booked one using the GO taxi app (there’s a ¥500 discount on the first ride)

Wow wow never been to Japan, is it worth it to travel from USA to Japan? So so so far far away

Definitely worth it, but if you’re travelling from USA I’d recommend going for at least 2 weeks and visiting a few cities in Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Hokkaido)
