It was 20 years ago when i had my haircut in Japan (Tokushima prefecture). It was awesome! 5 ladies attended to me ..the first was the receptionist and the last was the hairdresser. They served coffee while letting me browse a haircut style catalogue (the hairstylist suggested a more becoming cut which i gladly accepted 🥰)They even did my brows for free and sprayed me with perfume! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. I looked and felt a lot after that. Maybe was pretty expensive at 3500 yen (1750 pesos) compared to what we pay in the Philippine countryside (50 pesos only 😅) but the experience was more than worth it. You don't just have a haircut in Japan, you get a very memorable gorgeous experience! Kanpai!!! ☕

as someone with short hair in a planet that seeems to be LONG HAIR DOMINANT i find most hairstylists dismissive. and dont get it right or specialize in the intricacies of how my hair (anyone's/individuals) falls... or moves. wish there were more like him. we get ours cut so much more and rely on it -- the actual cut, vs color, products and what not long hair can sort of hide behind. he is a thoughtful, talented gem. thankyou for this.

Nowadays some stylists we'll disregard what you want but only do what they want and what they think will look good on you and it doesn't. He's really listening to his client and and trying to give her the best style he can. He's good at what he does and it's cool to see him work with the way the hair flows to get it to lay just right great job she looks gorgeous. She was very pretty when she came in and she's just as pretty leaving short hair looks good on her.

In my youth I had my long hair cut by Joshua Galvin ( brother of Daniel Galvin who coloured my hair) for a Hair Show in the UK. It was absolutely beautiful, the cut lasted at least 6 months and still stayed in shape. I am now aged 66 and have never found anyone who could come close to the perfection of Joshua Galvin, so I appreciate this man's gift!

That’s too bad for you. I live in California and I’ve had some fantastic hair stylists who are excellent and attentive with my hair, great shampoos and head massages while washing my hair. They tell me what shampoo and conditioners or hair oils they are using and they ask me how I want my hair to look, they don’t talk me into a new style. Since I moved, I found a new salon and my hair stylist is excellent. Even the chair for the washing bowl/sink, has a body massage feature in it! So relaxing! I know that a lot of hair stylists care about their clients and aren’t lazy or just care about the money. I hope you find that one attentive hair stylist to give you that really good shampoo!
