Yo-chan lives in an abandoned school deep in the mountains of Japan ( • 1 YEAR LATER: This Man... ). I spent 72 hours with him to see what life is like at an abandoned Japanese elementary school.

The great irony would be if you have avoided death by bear and boar on a dozen camping trips only to be killed by playground equipment.

I always come to the conclusion that Toyko Lens could have an amazing Netflix show (or not even netflix, just a feature length series) because this stuff is incredible.

That was one hell of an adventure. It's like watching a Ghibli anime come to life. Yo-chan is the coolest. Loved every minute of it!

Everything about this place fascinates me Norm. Japan was already enough, but mixing that with coffee and locations being reclaimed by nature is just epic! Really love this content, and I hope we get to see more of Yohei and his school in the future. Thank you for another awesome video!

I do not know how are you doing it, but your videos are always making my mood better. Your storytelling skills, shots, music, the situational small jokes and your personality make the videos amazing. Sundays are my favourite and I am always looking forward to your next video. It was definitely the best 29 minutes of my week, and just made me smile. Thank you Norm.

I just can't get enough of Yo-chan, his home, and his coffee roasting. The more I know about him and the place where he lives, the more I understand why he loves it there. I really wish I can visit him one day. Until then I look forward to more videos with Yo-chan and his amazing home.

This whole series with Yo-chan has been great. Really puts things into perspective on remote life in Japan and how people can fit into it.

It's so amazing how you went back to visit Yo-chan again and was able to forge a good friendship with him. It's also nice how well built the school is how well Yo-chan maintains it 👏

Yo-Chan is, in one word, wholesome. His entire way of living is just pleasant and pure. Makes me wish for a life like that.

Norm it's so nice to see you have such a good connection with someone. I feel like this is one of the most natural videos I've ever seen you make. And I think it has everything to do with your chemistry .
