Yokohama Base has probably been the best event I’ve seen in Japan. Period. Imagine combining the best from TAS together with hundreds upon hundreds of the country’s best privately owned and tastefully modified cars out there. To top it off the venue at the old old docks in Yokohama with views of Minatomirai as a backdrop truly made for a very special day. Hope this event becomes a yearly thing because it was simply amazing. Awesome job to the guys at Option for putting it on, proving that nothing touches Japan when it comes to modified cars!

I hope this becomes a yearly event, I haven't felt like I missed out on an event so much since watching early 2000s TAS coverage. The amount and quality of cars, plus the location, make it the event to visit, probably even better than TAS. If it happens next year I'm going to plan the long awaited trip to Japan.

I grew up in the 80s and always was (and still am) a big German car fan. I always wanted the Porsches, BMWs and Mercs to win all the group tests in the magazines against the Japanese cars. For the last few years, I have grown to appreciate and love JDM cars too, especially the ones from the 80s and 90s. Your channel really hits home with me! Saying all this, I am really interested to see what you do with the 964!

The celica convertible caught my eye as well those CrewCh cars with the G nose, the starlet turbo and the 180sx with the Lseries and carbs, the white S13 on MK1's and chunky tires, the Pajero Evo, Red Widebody s14 with the meaty fitment and the 4dr R31 at 23:38
