Sorry, I read the script crooked and didn't catch it in editing. The combo still works with Avenger, it's just that the tokens are created on ETB not on Landfall. Same premise, and it applies to about 10,000 amazing possible tricks you can do with this card.

This trick actually works insanely worse for everyone sitting on the other side of the table. Cause the tokens all get the etb trigger. That's 81 0/1 tokens. That's an additional 72 tokens for 1 blue mana. Then you drop that same land you mentioned and they're all now 1/2. Someone better have a board wipe. And got forbid it was a fetchland.... Edit: 9 missed triggers T_T

Don’t forget that all the transformed plants are actually Avengers of Zendikar and will each trigger landfall so each land adds +1/+1 counters equal to the number of Avengers.

The wording of the card is "The NEXT time that a creature would enter the battlefield," not "ANY time"...so the Avenger enters, and you cast Reflection with the trigger on the stack... That would make the tokens made by Avenger into copies of Avenger, but then after that, it would be the SECOND time that creatures would enter the battlefield, and that would NOT trigger Mystic Reflection, as it only triggers off the first time...however, that still could make a TON of tokens, and if you then play a land, all those tokens would then get bigger. The same idea applies to Master of Waves....Nikachu MTG showed a graph that another player made(I don't remember who), that showed how many tokens you get off of Master of Waves with Mystic Reflection being used, and it's exponentially immense based off of how much Devotion to Blue that you had before casting the Master... Something to the tune of over 800 power on the board with like...4 Devotion before casting Master...which is not difficult.

Do you know how many singles come in a box of Collector's Booster Box and a Set Booster Box?! I would be crazy not to!! Look at how many foils you get, and they most certainly fixed the problem from Commander Legends (even though they said that they product was not defective since the foils didn't come curled in the pack, even though there is documented evidence of the cards already being curved when the pack is open)...right? Like, that is a LOT of singles which you can then try to sell and get more singles in the off chance you accidently didn't get the cards you really wanted.

I am jealous. I can't wait for the backwards South (where I live) to catch up to modern times, so I can have a similar setup. If I want actual weed, I still have to meet someone in a parking lot for a secret exchange like a criminal. Right now I'm settling for D8, because that is legal, and due to my situation, that is something I now have to consider (I don't mind breaking unjust/racist laws). P.S. My situation is that just before Covid lockdowns (last March) a tornado hit my apartment complex, which was then condemned, so I had to move in with my mom (who is immune-suppressed). It was supposed to be short-lived (couple months), but then the pandemic hit, and we were completely locked down (mainly for her safety). She doesn't like intoxicants, and barely tolerated me legally vaping D8, so unless its my birthday, I eschew actual weed for her sake (which I have smoke for 20 years). Man, I can't wait until I can smoke actual plant again- I miss it so. Vaping D8 is better than nothing, but really is a poor substitute.

I finally have disposable income so I treated myself to a draft box, collecter box, and booster box for Kaldheim, a set I was super excited for. I have never bought bulk packs like this for myself so it was a lot of fun opening them all. I got nearly every card I wanted and a few really sweet extras. I filled a small binder full of gorgeous showcase cards and extended art foils. Probably will never do that again but I don't regret it. My inner 13 year old had a great weekend and I will have some cool things to show my son when he gets old enough to learn to play.

Search for Glory! So many good interactions for this card. Just in mono white, it can find staples like Elspeth Sun’s Champion and Serra’s Sanctum. But also it can find, say, Alhammerret’s Archive to go with that Cosmos Elixir doubling up your card draw and helping make sure you’re always over 40 life.

Loved the video prof! Just one thing. The ETB trigger on Avenger is the one that makes tokens, the Landfall one pumps them. So you'd want to respond to Avenger's ETB trigger with Mystic Reflection, not its Landfall trigger!

Mystic Reflection is definitely one of the very strongest cards in this set. Cosmos Elixir should have been white, but it does combo well with a white card from Guilds of Ravnica: Card Name: Dawn of Hope Mana Cost: 1White Converted Mana Cost: 2 Types: Enchantment Card Text: Whenever you gain life, you may pay 2. If you do, draw a card. 3White: Create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token with lifelink.

Grabbing Elixer stat. As well as some elf cards to slot into the elf precon. I'm not used to having shocks for land types in most of my decks because of budget reasons, so the more and more I think about the common dual cycle the more apparent it is what I can do with it. Farseek Activate Tainted lands (tainted Field, Tainted Wood) I didn't even think about Knight of the White Orchid and my Trynn and Silvar deck would love more help fixing its colors.

I can't play Cmmander (at the moment), but I like a lot of the tribal boost on Kaldheim, from the tribes on the set to the synergies about play tribal strategies. There are 3 dragon-related, and I like the giants and the trolls too.

Cards to get excited about: any tribals in... wait for it... blue... will want to run Reflections of Littjara. Goldspan Dragon + Feather the Redeemed and cheap instants with draw is going to blow up a turn. Tibalt's Trickery can be searched with a Sunforger... a sneaky Boros counterspell. Realmwalker for any tribals in green. Pyre of Heroes for my Gisa and Geralf Zombie deck. Tribals in general are really getting a lot of help here, it seems.

Mystic reflection is such a cool card. I really want some of the uncommon lands for my decks. Reanimation, copy effects, token creation, and aura/equipment tutors.

Holy crap that showcase version of Koll! They really hit it out of the park with the showcase versions in this set. Imagine if Amonkhet's Invocations were this good.

I agree with just about everything you say Prof, but as a newish player, buying the booster sets allows me to build a collection of cards for a variety of decks in a way that makes sense. I'm okay with a few repeats, as I already use a few repeats in a couple decks, but overall my cost effectiveness for buying Commander Legends has been really high and Kaldheim is looking to be the same way. I buy singles from my LGS as well, my main deck needs them, but boosters have proven to be quite useful for me in regards to building my "base" collection of cards from which I can freely build decks. The main thing with boosters that I've found is important is discovering the usefulness per set. I was okay with my Core 2021 boosters, very disappointed with my Ikoria boosters, quite happy with my Theros boosters and very, very happy with my Commander Legends boosters. From a veteran player's perspective, I'd rarely buy boosters. But as a new player, I definitely need them to some extent if I want to workshop decks.
