You say you revisited..? Is there any footage.? Wondering when the farmer tipped all the spoil down through the airshaft and blocked it..

The Night stalker , when we visited the first time, we had heard or read that the tunnel had collapsed somewhere halfway, and looking at another video from Caribs Bay Crew on here it's about halfway, and below what we had possibly identified as the air vent near enough above where it looks collapsed inside.

yes we went years back but couldn't get in to the cutting as the sides were treacherous and might have struggled to get out..Anyway we went recently and waded up to the blockage..Was quite deep and very cold..Be be great to get past it..

The Night stalker , yes we basically did exactly the same as you, the other end of the tunnel has been blocked up in the shape of, what looked like a doorway and is pretty flooded as you see in the video, we looked into the cutting from above and thought we would need climbing ropes, but we hacked our way up through all the vegetation and were rewarded with actually getting inside, but disappointed the water was quite deep and the tunnel, but we couldn't see the blockage from where we were, which was only a few feet in from the entrance :(
