The Little Railroad that could. Love it and Go Beavers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great vid.

I think this is railroading at its finest. Something about these "shorelines" running through small towns and fields is just so great!

I agree with you! It is a step back in history of sorts that we can see today. Many old railroad practices and scenes are played out on a stage that has mostly been erased from modern transportation.

It sucks that the stretch between Albany and Corvallis is the only fast stretch now. Before the Flynn to Toledo 10mph speed restriction, there used to be other fast parts like the stretch between Corvallis and Flynn but that also got reduced to just 10mph.

Yeah. I agree. I’m sure the crew would prefer to be able to go more than 10 as well.

I've heard that PNWR 3002 got a new horn. They replaced the M3 with a K3LA.

Jeremy, I've enjoyed the Albany series so much! Every once in a while my timing is perfect and I catch the Patch coming into Corvallis and am able to pace the locomotives along 6th Street, just listening to their smooth rumble and watching their axles move up and down in their trucks. I'm a little sad at the thought of 1501 not being around any more; I hope she's moving on to another job and not being cut up. Thanks again for your videos, and I'll be awaiting the next one.

Yes Robert; and to my knowledge the 1501 has moved on to a shortline operation of some kind in the mid south states somewhere. Maybe it is a museum…BUGX is its initials now.

Thanks, Jeremy! I feel better knowing the unmistakable exhaust note from her 567 will be making other people happy.@@pacificrailproductions5281

When I worked the fuel track at Proviso for the C& NW then engineers used to leave those city bells on when they stopped for the day. The haustler stock lazy to turn them off.

I’m a Duck fan, but appreciate the excellent tradition of the Beavers! They are a terrific competitor to the rest of the NW. too bad the conference will soon be split up.

Thank you for reaching out, but yes I am! It’s been sports season this fall and winter in my home and I’ve had my projects on hold. But I feel that what I have coming out in the next several series is some of my best material. Healthy, and ready to dive in once my senior son is done with basketball. (I make videos for the team on another channel.)
