Even the architectural style of the museum, ex Sefardi synagogue, El Transito, is Hispanic Muslim, Mudejar, Mozarabe. This is the part that's the museum of royal painter El Greco. He had a long Greek name, that's why he was nicknamed El Greco. His style can be attributed to Orthodox Christianity, the long thin figures, because it also was part of the transition.
