So fitting! Everyone keeps saying that this song is about princess Diana. But this movie fits to the song just as well. She tried her best to impress him and be a good wife. I feel like he didn't even love her, even in the end when we found out the truth about Rebecca it didn't justify him treating her so badly 90% of the time

I guess he was someone who was unable to express his love. When i read the book, i felt he cares actually about her but not in an usual way that we expect from men. He is so cold and distant. Even tho his first wife rebecca seemed evil one, i guess his coldness made her to find smth new in different men.
