Toliss A321 NEO | Using Default XP12 ATC | Latest Ver - Aug 2023

We Test Fly xPlane 12 stock ATC, in the Toliss A321 NEO. We'll setup our short flight using SimToolKitPro, and then fly South, along the Panama Canal following ATC instructions. Is it efficient? Let's see!

Hey just 2 tips, but I know its 10 months old. U put the fuel pumps on, before you pushback and start the engines, together with putting on the beacon light and so on and not directly after starting the ext power or apu. In the FMS you dont algin on ref, the Irs is already aligning, this option is only if the irs loses the posiition, but usually its already aligning to your current position and when u do the align on reference its aligning to the airport you put in, but that can be pretty far away from your real aircrafts gate position. What are your specs and could you share your settings via text or an imgur image? Your game looks too smooth for XP12

I hope I understood right, then you're referring to anti aliasing - also called AA. It's a setting in the graphics options in the main menu (for xplane and most games). It blurs the edges of textures (via a variety of techniques) to make them appear more smooth. Some of the options look better than others, but cost more graphics card performance. The trick is to set this as high as possible, that works in most situations, without compromising performance. There's also a setting called Anisotropic filtering (AF) helps to enhance the clarity of those same textures, especially when you're viewing them from very small angles (like a flat runway well into the distance). Again, the higher the setting, the better it looks, at the cost of..... Hope this helps

It seems like people's experiences are very different with regards to AA in X-Plane 12. Some look great (like this one). Others (including my own system) look jagged all over the place, even with MSAA set to 8x. I'm not quite sure what the cause is (type of GPU, driver, system?). I can confirm MSAA seems to have no effect at all on the Linux build. Laminar is aware of the issues, however, and claim improvements to the AA system are coming in 12.10.

@@rapidfiringneurons I agree my graphics seem similar to yours with a 3070 but I think some people have set Nvidia settings to mitigate the issues

I'm really pleased you like it. The last thing I want to do is push products, and it's why I will ALWAYS say when things aren't great, don't feel right, and I'll certainly never edit things out, to try and hide problems, bugs and poor design. I know there's some channels that just say everything's "amazing" and I just find it dishonest. That said, when something's good, or I have a good experience, I'll say it. I remember being unable to afford more than 1-2 modules in an entire year, and relying on the honesty of someone else to help make that decision. It just feels right to me, and I sleep easy cos of it. (Edit typo)

Yeah I don't know why I was expecting a longer canal. Shows what I know. Felt a shame landing so soon.

I find "long cruises" quite boring, the 30-45 minutes up top in cruise is probably my limit, any longer and I start to get bored, I need things to do, at least the last 10 minutes can be used to plan descent. In live streams at least you can chat, but my channel is way too small for that.
