I seen dean in person in Charlestown WV. He's great. Very high strung. Good singer and very professional. He loves Elvis very much. And he dedicated his life to him.

I spoke with a former official with the festival who told me the city was losing money. Hard to believe. One of the world's premiere Elvis festivals. It is a crying shame.

At the Corporate and Community Services Standing Committee meeting last night (June 3, 2019) the committee voted unanimously to allow staff to use the special events permit process to select a private operator for the 2020 Collingwood Elvis Festival. According to Karen Cubitt, manager of culture and events, the town currently has three expressions of interest from businesses looking to run the 2020 Elvis Festival in Collingwood.

Coincidences abound in my life but the latest is a beaut. My grand daughter Paige introduced me to her beau on Sunday last and as all such meetings do it turned into an interrogation of the poor fella.He turned the tables on us when he told us of his aspirations and also of the fact he already has two jobs @ 14 years old. Pizza shop employee which he hates but wants the money it can bring him and also sign language interpreter. We were discussing all sorts of potential applications and I can tell you here and now we never came up with signing on stage to an Elvis impersonator. How cool is that?

Hope Dean has a lil boy and he takes after his Dad. Fantastic entertainer! Just read a post that said this is the last year for Collinwood Festival, which is hard to believe they were losing money. Think more like some higher official didn't like Elvis that put the sprags to this..
