One thing I found was wearing earplugs REALLY cuts my fatigue. Strangely prolonged noise tires me. That was in New Zealand. I'm not sure how safe that tip is here where you need all your senses while riding. Yup, I have 5-10 minute breaks every 100-150km, usually to drink water and pee. Short breaks then a longer 30min lunch break. More Masala chai. I usually try ride max of 600km a day - at 500km I'm getting agitated and tired haha. Man, Cow's are seriously dangerous at night, especially the black ones 😵

exactly !! Ear plugs are the real magic !!! Sound , light intensity (reduced by using a darker/blue tint visor) greatly affects your ride ! :)

karl has nailed it there, earplugs are the best thing to reduce fatige on a long ride. next best thing is to have your seat reupholsterd with better quality foam. i recover mine with a thin layer of aircraft insulation foam over the original if it's already good quality, simple to do with a bit of practice & A heavy duty staple gun.

When I saw the thunderbird in your video for the first second, I had shockwaves pass through my spine 🤦🏻♂️ got me thinking, how the hellllll; actually, Why are my desi brothers choosing to ride such long distances on these bikes 😣 😁 What pants do u wear, please? Besides the bike of choice, I liked your video and information given to us. I’m leaving day after tomorrow to Mumbai from Bangalore. My first long solo ride on this bike (duke 390 2016) so I’ll stop over in Goa for a night. Your info was very useful. Thank you! :) Johny

So your miles from anywhere and it's raining, try a pair of vinyl gloves and some polythene bags worn before you put on those leaky gloves and boots might help take them with you they take up little space. Fitting an inexpensive pair of handguards keeps most of the weather off your hands. If your visor steams up try smearing both sides with shaving gel or dandruff shampoo ( it must be dandruff shampoo) from time to time, leave it on for 30 minutes or so then polish it off. All the best ;-)

@TollFreeTraveller3 жыл бұрын
Hey, neck pain is usually because of your helmet rather than the bike itself. If the helmet is very heavy or if there is a lot of wind resistance it can lead to neck pain especially if riding at higher speeds for longer durations. Of, course it might be posture related, but you would know best.
@DeepakLifestyle3 жыл бұрын

Doing 1000+ km a day is a regular feature in my riding because the fun places are far and the time is limited. So usually the first and last day of the ride involves heavy milage. In addition to what you mentioned I do the following. 1. Breaks limited to 15 mins. Once u cross the 20 min mark u feel tired. 2. Keep hydrating as u are riding with the use of a hydration pack 3. Plan your route with alternatives incSe of traffic/roadworks/bad weather. Plan it atleast a night before so u don’t get caught unaware. 4. Good quality earplugs. 5. Do a complete front to back, TOP to bottom check on ur bike to make sure it’s all working well. TOP up ur fuel the night before. Buy a banana or some fruit the night prior eat that and get going. Clock some gd km’s before ur first stop. 6. Wash ur face every time you stop.
