#SoloRide #TollFreeTraveller #RoyalEnfield
Last leg of the #Tourof2Kindoms - Kolkata to Chennai solo on my Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500. I had nearly 1800 kilometres to ride and I intended to do it quickly. The end result was a swift ride back all the way through West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh until I was home safely in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is the first time I'd managed to pull of this kind of distance on a Royal Enfield. It took some doing!
Also, this marks the end of the #tourof2Kingdoms. What an incredible adventure it turned out to be. I hope you guys enjoyed this series of videos!

Your journey reminds me when I did Bengaluru to Kolkata to Bengaluru solo and I was thinking the same how not to take break and keep the momentum. I took Bangalore-Hyderabad-Vizag-Kolkata 3days while going and Kolkata-Vizag-Vijayawada-Bangalore 3days while coming back. It is same road, same boring milestones but weather changes, landscapes changes, trees changes, soil changes in each & every 200kms. Now it is high time to upgrade the wheels to keep the momentum further for you.

You are a man of steel. The vibration from a single cylinder engine is torture. I ride a 2004 BMW R1150GS and the only limit to how far I ride is how much time is available. If you get an opportunity to try a BMW R1150GS or newer R1200GS you will find it takes much less physical endurance to travel long distances.

Yah the return legs almost always pan out Faster than the onward journey. This is the time where the general fatigue is overcome by the idea of the familiar sights and sounds of home. I would often find myself taking undue risks on the roads at such times so it constantly have to remind myself that home isn’t running away. Be patient. By the way for the throttle. Consider a throttle rocker they go a Long way to ease right hand Fatigue. In addition, consider putting old rubber tube cut out outs on your handbar clamps and that will help to dampen vibrations further. You can go one step further by putting this rubber at the point where the clasp mounts the triple clamp as well

You should definitely try the continental GT mirrors (not the ones on the end of the handlebar) they work much much better than any of the others.

Love the videos that you upload. For your arm cramps, I'd suggest getting a Throttle Assist to help during long rides. It really helps with holding the throttle open, as the weight of your arm keeps the throttle twisted.

The mirrors have been a constant irritant on my TB500 too. I've given up on conventional mirrors and added bar ends that mercifully stay glued in the position they're supposed to be in (I have the RD350 handlebar - before you start visualizing bar ends on the regular TB handlebar 😬). The bar ends are much smaller, but I atleast have visibility to what's behind me!
