TOLOnews 24 November 2013 President Hamid Karzai's closing speech at Loya Jirga

Afghan tribal elites concluded a four-day Loya Jirga on Sunday, endorsing the Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA) with the United States, which allows a residual US troops to remain in Afghanistan beyond 2014.
A unanimous majority of 2,500-member Jirga called on President Hamid Karzai to sign the document by the end of this year. But, the Afghan president laid out three pre-conditions before signing the security pact: transparent elections in April 2014, no raids on Afghan homes and a breakthrough in talks with the Taliban.

Peace Peace ! As Afghan I´m 100% sure that all the conflict in Afghanistan in 30 years was a US plan and under control of US. We have missed more then 2,5 million people. I´m still afraid and can´t trust US 100% as Afghan. Specially because of no matter where they has been in the world they have destroyed more. And I´m a generation that raised up under war, have never really realized what peace is! I hope that the Afghan and US government can find a solution best for both, with trust that can bring peace.

Then you are blind. Pakistan has been invading Afghanistan for more than 20 years. They have done this in order to keep India out and to keep Afghanistan weak. I fought in Afghanistan against the Pakistanis who invade your country through the Khyber Pass every spring. I talked to the prisoners we captured and I heard their Pakistani accents. The invaders bring Pakistani bombs and Pakistani rifles and Pakistani rockets by the thousands. They kill your people and they try to overthrow your government. If my words are not truth then tell your government to hold a vote and ask us to go and we will go and never come back.

Steve Michaels First of all I will tell you that I personally appreciate you fight and risking your life in Afghanistan against terror! Steve I have no doubt that Pakistan is very active in Afghanistan, I´m from Herat which borders to Iran and Iran is also active for all the conflicts. And it would not surprise me if even India is also trying to keep it´s fight between Pakistan in Afghanistan instead of India or other place.So yes, you are right there are many countries even China and special Russia are not interested to have US so close to them. But you have to understand me, that US helped us against Soviet, and we are grateful for it. But At the same time they supported Pakistan and ISI in that time, and paksitan destroyed our army with those so called jihad leaders that US helped against Soviet. And those warlords are now in power around the country, like Atta Noor, Esmael Khan, Gul agha shirzai, Abdullah Abdullah, Sayaf etc. And WE as people has been trough too much, the poverty, alliterate (90% maybe) etc. What can people that has been through so much do? What can we expect of them? we have all missed families, immigrated, been raped, torture and raped by the warlords, but we have been brought to a situation that our society as war affected has lost much and still suffering. We have a generation that never know what peace means! and what a good life is etc. I´m sure that if US will they can order Pakistan immediately to stop, because US and NATO support Pakistan and because they CAN! they are super power. and has capacity to do that and you know that you have! The same they can do with iran and arab country. And they know much more then me and you how dirty those warlords in Afghanistan are. and they can bring them to court, it can helped the people that has suffered by them to much that they can see justice once in their life. And US has many of the TV channels in AFG under control. I mean they can do so much very easy and without a big cost. In these 14 days that they prepared the Loya Jirga, there has only died 2 Afghan solider and about 3 innocent, but the reports show that normally there die about 40-50 every week. I´m sure if they will they can do it! As Afghan wee wish a cooperation with US and terror, and even economy agreement and cooperation relative to China and Russia since they are a danger for US. But we wish a honestly cooperation that can bring trust and peace for both sides!
