Team Solutions,
This is my NIGERIAN traditional bridal preparation.
You all are probably wondering where I have kept this all along...LOL. I'm wondering myself but better late than never right?
Editing this was so emotional for me and I'm so happy to share this with you. There's one more intimate ceremony in the archives, I'll share if this video gets to 1M views haha (that's because I'm looking for an excuse not to actually publish that one lol). xo

Sincerely, you are the reason why I'm living my teenage years without wanting to entertain any kind of PURPOSELESS relationship. I hope for a mother-in-love like this and I pray God grants me as I decide to wait on him.. May you and pastor gbemiga not have any cause to know a better yesterday!! I love you plenty!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is beautiful. I’m not Yoruba but in my place, I believe what is similar is called “fatting room”. The girl will go to her mothers place and be there for months to the wedding, she’ll eat and enjoy spa treatments and advice (all kinds of advice). Culture is beautiful. We must preserve it.

Yes we have mothers night the main reasons for mothers night is the advice giving by our lovely elderly mothers. Also l love what tolulope mother in law said that we are both human l will offend you and you will offend me we all have to forgive each other. She was very open.Pls do not watch these video for the fun of it try and learn something out of it example forgiveness in marriage it very powerful. A grandmother once said she has married for 70 years, she was asked what the secret behind it she said prayers and forgiveness.May the almight God bless your family and give you more wisdom, knowledge and understanding tolulope you are a good instrument of God these is path of your calling because you are touching many lives all over the world. Also there are so many quite people that do not comment .Am one of them it the spirit of God that touch my heart to comment after 4years of watching your post. I also love what your mother in said, they've being pray to God for a God fearing daughter in law that will give them peace no matter how rich you are it is only God that can give you a God fearing and peacefull daughter in law and son in law. Please let us all learn something out of these video prayers, advices from our elderly mothers, forgiveness, love etc.God bless your family.

I bless God for bringing me back here to watch this. Watched this video when it was uploaded and God led me here again today. While watching, I found myself praying in tongues. Not sure if I was praying for myself or Tolu mama but I’m generally thankful for the time of prayer 🙏🏼 Solutions mama. You’ve been a tremendous blessing to me. A reminder for the need to fulfill purpose in Christ. I’m now Blessing Opatewa anyway ‘cause I got married 3 months ago to an absolutely amazing man. Almost forgot the blessing of marriage because of distractions here and there. So, I believe The Holy Spirit brought me again here to remind me of how blessed I am with my husband and his family. I hope to see you some day if Jesus tarries. Love and blessings to you and your family. I hope you read this ❤️

We never get to see this part of the wedding. I’m so grateful that you shared this moment. I didn’t even know that they did this in the yoruba tradition. I’m marrying into a yoruba family from Edo and I’m very excited for the union of our cultures in love. We have so much in common, I’ve always wanted to marry a yoruba man because I love their culture, just as much as I love my Edo culture.

Seeing this, really got me emotional. Mehn, mother's worth. On my wedding especially my engagement despite promising myself I won't cry,I was aggressive almost all through ,being an orphan, despite people around tried all their best but you know the saying 'Photocopy can never be like original' I didn't cry but there were interludes of anger, aggressiveness ,plenty family drama that kept getting me angry. When I saw some part of my videos en,chai,I just kept remembering stuffs that happened that day and got me angry,if only my parent were there, especially my dad cos never actually got to know my mum before her death,it would have been avoided. All glory to God though,in my hubby's house happy and fulfilled

Wow this is so beautiful and too rich of a culture, we have a similar arrangement in Zambia ,a week or less before a brides bridal shower , elderly women gather to talk to the bride on how to run her home through dance and songs as well as giving her valuable lessons and advice, its so sweet and funny how we Africans have similar ways of doing things, this was lovely solution mama

I am Nigerian and I attended a Zambian kitchen party, it was such a blessing. I loved the culture and how the older women looked out for the younger ones

Honestly, I prefer this to bridal shower sef. Wait ooo, never heard or seen this , is this part of our/your indigenous culture or Holyspirit inspired?
