I am from Tampa and rooted against Brady because he was winning so much for the Patriots. Maybe I didn't root against him but actually didn't care if he lost. I still don't think Brady is done playing football! I came to love him as I got to know him playing in Tampa. He didn't have it easy from day one in Tampa. After Belichick cast Tom aside, Tom went to a lowly Tampa Bay and took them to 3 playoffs in a row. Tampa hadn't been to 3 playoffs in their entire existence and he did that over the age of 40. The guile it took for Brady to comeback in the last few mins of 6 SB puts him head and shoulders above any other QB in the NFL. Don't forget Jordan had best 4 out of 7 to win a championship, whereas Brady only had one chance. A truly remarkable QB.

Beyond this though Jordan and Montana constantly come back to promote themselves as a GOAT and ridicule others who play the game ("Oh the game was different back then we had it harder so we were better") - but Brady loved this sport and wanted to to play it as long as possible. In basketball.. MJ doesn't have the most rings..he has 1 more than magic.... so not quite as dominate as brady In hockey there is nobody in the same zip code as 99.. Nobody close to 92 goals in a season.. 4- 200 point seasons And his points are almost a 1000 more than #2.. That's how you judge it Throw out the hype of people singing songs about wanting to me like mike. Or fan size...money made. Just look at what the players did to their league...when you remove how popular a sport or player is and just stick to the stats...awards..etc It's pretty easy remove any bias and see who dominated more
