Brady is such a breathe of fresh air as a broadcaster. It’s so nice listening to someone who is humble enough to understand how his experience doesn’t outweigh individuals who have a lot more experience in the field of broadcasting… instead of coming across as believing he is the smartest guy in the room. Really a great listen and it’s his humility that is so refreshing

Biggest thing that's annoying about these Brady segments is that Colin is does it as an interview instead of a normal conversation. He does a normal conversation with Mark sanchez, Julian edelman, etcetera but for some reason the Brady interview is like a job interview. You can tell Brady would be more comfortable just having a conversation with Colin but Colin is asking him questions and then just immediately moving on to the next question. Producers really need to change the segment around next year.

In regard to the Refs and Mahomes - I don't think it has anything to do with Mahomes. I think Mahomes and Reid recognize the refs are more lenient with them on impactful plays and take advantage of it, but I believe the Ref issues are actually network driven and it's more about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Kelce and Swift draw an insane new crowd and the more games they are in, the more money the networks make. If you think I'm being dramatic, consider the fact that Jason Kelce's wife had the #1 podcast in the world when she first released - it's objectively a boring podcast, but the following is very real, and she gained most of her notoriety from being Taylor Swift adjacent. The NFL doesn't tend to favor players like people might say - a lot of people are claiming that Brady used to get the same calls and that might be true, but it definitely wasn't because the league wanted it. The league tried to bury him countless times and even suspended him for something that was later found to be completely illegitimate.

Come on, Tom. People are definitely taking advantage of the rules. We should have, at least, a one-step rule on QB slides. Meaning the defender can still hit you if he only takes one step. If a QB doesn't want to get hit, slide sooner, I'm tired of these QB's throwing little fakes like they're going to slide, too, Yes, Pat is one of the worst culprits at this. I get it. Use the rules to your advantage. It has become exceedingly clear that the rule, and the enforcement, needs to be fixed.
