I met Tom Chapin after watching the documentary "blue water, white death" of the sharks, and being amazed by the scenes in which a certain sailor plays the guitar and sings, the said sailor was Tom Chapin. The songs in the scenes are so good that I cut them from the documentary and listen to them every day

I 100% agree with you, I am hocked with the songs for many years. Could you please send me a copy of the songs you cut from the documentary, thank you I wish that Mr. Tom Chapin would record these songs that he sang in that documentary Best Regards

This is awesome! I remember being about 21 when I first bought the Join The Jubilee CD at Borders bookstore. It was in their small folk music section, which I always checked just in case there was something new. I was happily surprised to find this album. Not even knowing of its existence at the time, I was excited to get in the car and listen. It hit me right away and it's still my favorite Tom Chapin album. So many good songs and the performances on the album are stellar. I was especially floored the first time hearing Join The Jubilee, Wandering Boy and Jubilation (hadn't heard Cotton Patch Gospel yet at the time, it would be a few more years before I'd get my hands on copies of those original songs). Lots of great memories associated with these songs (driving around and warbling along to Emily, laughing out loud at the lyrics to Columbine, etc.) It's great getting to hear Tom play them again now. Thanks for this!

I'm happy to see your still going all these years. I remember going to several of your concerts as a kid. You really are awesome.

One of my favorite Tom Chapin albums was one he sang a song called '"Follow the Light" with John McCutcheon.
