Back in 2003 I had a nervous breakdown of the highest extent because I was a fourth grade teacher in a very prestigious school and I had a 10-month long anxiety attack and nobody would listen to me it was a mental implosion or break if you will because for 10 months I didn't know what was going on with me and I know now 20 years later that I was developing a very bad paranoia and could not be around and even to this day can't be around any more than like five people...and unfortunately I dealt with it with very strong pain pills and clonazepam addiction for 20 years now and I know it's pure hell and if you don't get the proper help which I didn't myself I never followed through then those ghosts will come back to get you and I'm now 50 years old and finally I'm going to start going to and a meeting but kudos to him and I never had any family support so hopefully you did because it makes all the difference in the world. My family just abandoned me some people just can't handle it which makes it so hard to get through alone but that's how I found God in Jesus. I hope you're doing well my talented friend take care and keep pumping out those songs you're either with Keane. I could not have gotten through all this without God because so many of my supposed loved ones turn the back on me and I needed them so much. As we all know, so many very very many people suffer with addiction especially in these days. But you're so talented and we have a wife and children and you have a family so you're going to be fine.

Thank goodness you overcame that' down' period in your life. So wonderful that you can now talk so honestly about it, and i,m sure just listening to you would help a lot of young people that may be struggling and coming to terms with their lives. Tom Chaplin speaks with wisdom. I adore Hopes and Fears, and much of the later Keane music. It resonates with me, and I can also draw parallels with Tom's life experiences. I think the interviewer did a fantastic job, and asked some very pertinent questions.

Me fascina TOM CHAPLIN es tan honesto para hablar de su vida, que bastante mal lo paso, pero salió adelante tiene mucha fuerza interior,eso es muy importante. Es una persona maravillosa, me encanta su sonrisa, su mirada es sumamente expresiva, es perfecto, MÁGICO,con la voz más hermosa de todos los tiempos. Es el príncipe de mis sueños que son imposibles. i like this interview...keane were young stars (without any guidance!!!), and he fell off the rails...(the "stardom"etc... but this band were good!!!)... what i iike is that tom became clean from that stuff... and, now, he's doing what he was always best at...(the voice!!!), and giving us beautiful tunes...

If I am correct Tom is life path one and as such will go through many transformations in his life in order to feel while with himself. It can be a very lonely life path as relationships can seem difficult to bear, alone time is much needed and the feeling of being misunderstood is prevalent. Once the person has done their soul searching and accepted these very powerful characteristics they can thrive within the boundaries they define for their well being. Keane is a band but the front man was the expression of the group and their song and music were groundbreaking..a different way of doing things songs extremely well written and performed with a one in a lifetime voice..they really were not the representation of a band at the time but they had some new and strong to offer..maybe unwillingly Tom was a leader in his own right...Tom is only young and because he has the capacity to question himself and think deeply and differently sky is the limit to someone like that..lots to offer still..he will surprise us..minor note is family and the concept of having children does not come easy for a one life path, they need the right partner to draw them into that area of life and make them feel secure..

Terrible interview. Bland and he cannot even speak coherently. Tom has gotten stuck with some really horrible interviewers. More bad ones than good. It's a pity because I think he's an interesting person.
