Nice one man. I started my course in audio engineering at SAE Institute in Brisbane / Australia about a month ago, and this is the beast we're getting started on. So far I quite like it. Overall, it's been fairly intuitive and reasonably easy to learn on, so I have to say you're probably right about it being good for students. I haven't used any other consoles yet though, so I have nothing to compare it to. But it's definitely got charm, I'll give it that. I'm warming to it more and more every time I get my hands on it (which isn't often enough!)

Can you please make a video on how to connect this device to you computer. Also, will you be able to mix sounds coming from your PC?

Calvin Brumant get an an audio interface that has a usb input. i have this desk and a tascam US-4X4, which is attached to my edit computer. i can mix down to two track (or 4 with this particular tascam model--other products can give 16 inputs into your pc!) and record into abelton or sony sound forge.
