@@thepianisthd you gotta install the game a certain way, 1) download from steam 2) go inside game directory to redist folder and you ll see directx and pbsvc.exe for punkbuster, install both 3) add firewall rules 4) once you connect in game (which may take a few tries) minimize game and force quit uplay to prevent crashes and 5) go to options in the game and graphic settings, disable directx11 to get best fps

Im kind of veteran of the MP (been playing from 2013 to 2018) and it's heartwarming to see this game alive. My childhood game. One of the best shooters ever, too bad ubisoft completely forgot about it.

It’s dead man, you can find games but all the good players left along time ago. It’s too easy, so there’s no fun anymore. I used to play this game 12 hours on the weekends.

my favorite feature of this game is obviously the cover system but also when youre interacting with the objective and it fills up faster when ur squad is with you where as alone it fills up slower @0:57 youll even see him look over his shoulder more often when alone

I had way more fun playing this game than the last Modern Warfare game. And they are trying to make a big deal about Gumsmith in MWII and it doesn't vome close to touching the gunsmith in this game thats 10 years old.

This games servers are alive and well. You just need to block a few IP addresses with your firewall security system.

I used to really kick ass with a rifleman equipped with the M60E4 LMG I got from the uPlay rewards. I attached a gripod to it and would often dive roll sideways through doors that enemies were inside of, deploy the gripod as soon as I hit the floor, and just unleash it on them. That was on PS3 though, and it doesn't seem like you can play that online anymore (not that there'd be any players left if you could). Really want to build a PC to play this online again.

Ok, so I don't mind 3rd person PvP shooters or fast time to kill PvP shooters, but this was the game that made me realize that I do not like when those things are combined. It's frustrating when you see absolutely nobody on screen, you choose to move out of cover, and out pops a random guy from behind cover that has been watching your position , safely hidden from behind their own cover. They immediately drop you in 1 second. Idk, maybe its because I grew up with competitive shooters like Halo, CoD, or Gears of War. Gears is a third person game where you can definitely sit hidden behind cover and watch a choke point for someone to come through and get the surprise drop on them, but at least health and damage fall off were balanced in a way that allowed a good amount of wiggle room to reset or outplay them. In CoD, you could easily die in a split second just like in this game, but if they decided to hide behind cover and look at the wall or floor, they had to sacrifice their cone of vision and awareness in order to do that.

@@chunkrock8218 thats because you need to follow a workarond, basically the game has 4 servers of which 3 of them dont work properly, you gotta prevent the game from connecting to those by blocking them with a firewall, details are there inside the discord posted in the pinned comment of this video once you join
