IDE love to see Martha vs Gordon on iron chef , that would have been an epic matchup

Incredible, this recipe manages to simultaneously trivialize and over complicate a simple roast chicken. SEASON THE DAMN THING PROPERLY!

I like the technique for the Stew Leeks and Yukon Potatoes. The Chicken needed a bit of seasoning for me. So if i was making it and will make something similar, i'd just season up the chicken and maybe baste it with some butter and herbs to up the flavor a bit.

And what exactly is stopping you from seasoning it when you try the recipe out for yourself? They're on a time limit and it's all for show. Use your head...

I think the stuffing is an awesome recipe. As for the unseasoned bird...I'm quite surprised and disappointed. Geez, Chef. Brush it with herbed butter or a citrus marinade or SOMETHING!

Expensive waste of maple syrup, bland seasoning and the quaker commercial was gratuitous. Spiced nuts? spice your nuts. I second every critique as well. Worse than lame.

Nice recipe but....what is it about white people not seasoning their meat? And couldn't you just throw everything in the roaster instead of using all those pans.....too complicated and annoying for something so simple.
@sabinka74124 жыл бұрын
Not all white people are like that please trust. In the south we know how to cook and how to season our meat, regardless our skincolor. Unless you like blanket generalizations I wouldn't use them on others.

I'm sure all the critics have cooked on a live TV set before, right?!?! Studio audience, hot set lights, and a segment that is timed??? Everyone bitching about the birds being unseasoned 😂😂😂 Sheeple. One person says it, and then the flock joins in. Watch it again, but actually pay attention this time. He SAYS that he had forgot to season everything as he was going (5:06). If you need him to show and tell you to season your food, maybe you don't belong in a kitchen. Stay vigilant on salt and pepper though...🤦🏻♀️ The bland birds of America are counting on you! 😂👎🏼
@ROGANSMITH6 жыл бұрын
IF they are going to do a tutorial on live tv then do it right. That is the point. People watch these segments for ideas so that they can attempt it at home. That is the point. They aren't sheeple. They are simply stating the obvious...that the damned hens were not seasoned.

Rogan Smith I didn't know salt and pepper (or lack thereof), was so triggering. 😂😂😂 He has 50 things to mention, minutes to do it, and ONE take to get it right. Sorry he's not as perfect as you (have you seen his resume BTW?).So he has to dumb it down for you??? Because he didn't do it, even though he SAID he should have, isn't enough? Go Google: How to use salt and pepper, if you really need that much handholding.
