Happy to see a diver with very positive energy. Both of his parents are not role model of health: one died from health problem, and his mother a bit overweight(a single mother with obese legs). So it's good to see him set an example of healthy diet and have a healthy body figure.

well, he's worked pretty hard for his spot. If he wasn't as good as he was, why would he be in the Olympics?

James Thomas Being overrated doesn't mean he is not good. Yes he is good and he has worked hard. But at the end of the day he has done nothing in the olympics has over 2 million followers on twitter. Yet Jack Laugher has an olympic gold medal and only has around 100k followers.

+Salsabilla, That is a mean comment. His diving life is not over yet. History overrates nobody. It only acknowledges that this time Tom gambled for higher degree of difficulty and was unlucky in the semi. But he is still one of the best. He did reach 1st place in the preliminary, didn't he? First place in any stage of the Olympic competition can only come from an extraordinary diver. He would probably gamble again on a new dive in Tokyo. The luck will take care of the rest. History does not know yet at this point.
