I have really appreciated the respect that your channel gives Evergrey. In my opinion a very under appreciated Band. Tom is very talented I also liked his work on Redemption.

As a whole I still think Evergrey doesn't get the praise they deserve and is a bit under radar. As for Tom - with his interviews he confirms the feeling I get from him and the band - that sincerity that oozes from them. This is the reason they touch me so much. 100% but the last two albums, the last one and this new one fortunately got them a lot of attention. Well deserved. The fact that Mikael Stanne has talked about how excited he is about this one has helped too. Right now Evergrey are impeccable. Great musicianship and great songwriting, super solid production too.

Loved the interview. Interesting fact that the guitars were tuned down to G. The sound does come across heavier, especially on tracks like The Beholder together with the keyboards this creates a new dark atmosphere, love it! Tom is also such an authentic guy makes me appreciate the music even more.

Great interview, thanks for sharing! Tom remarks Evergrey music is his life and this is probably the reason why you can feel they put their heart on every track. Every track on an album is relevant and shouldn't be there just as a filler: this is a very important principle that every band should follow! Bravo! Very eager to listen at the full album. I wonder if a band like Evergrey (well known but not very famous) can really generate a good income nowadays (in terms of profit/earnings) considering there are no tours allowed right now. Someone from the music environment told me sometime ago that tours generate the majority of the incomes for the metal bands. Maybe another question to ask in the next interview ;)

I feel like every album release from Monday Morning Apocalypse forward has challenged for album of the year that it's been released in and I can not think of another group to ever have done that for me. This would make 7 albums in a row to do that and from what I've heard so far, I believe this one will be in contention.
