Tom Farrell's 'Letter To Wim' (1985)

By 1985, actor/writer Tom Farrell had worked with Wim Wenders on a few occasions (there would be more to come as the years progressed). In celebration of Wenders' 40th birthday that year, Farrell made this heartfelt video "letter" to Wim using an old Panasonic VHS tape. Farrell's video is made all the more poignant by his choice of shooting it with the Twin Towers as a backdrop.
