Tom Felton reacts to Harry Potter behind the scenes and meeting Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe

Tom Felton recalls meeting fellow Harry Potter stars Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint for the first time.
Felton also explains what it was like behind the scenes on film sets as a child star.
25 years since The Philosopher's Stone was released, he also explained why he thinks the Harry Potter brand is still so popular nowadays.

Tom Felton and Rupert Grint visited GOSH several years ago. My daughter a great fan was not there at the time. A father of a child she knows asked if he could record a greeting for her and they agreed and recorded a lovely message for her. As a dedicated paediatric nurse it was a wonderful and very kind gesture from them.

For me Harry Potter is this safe haven for me. It gives me this peace that makes me feel safe. I grow up in a house that wasn’t safe and Harry Potter gave me this escape to a place I wasn’t being hurt.

I gave my HP books to my oldest granddaughter for Christmas 4 years ago. She loves them. We had a talk about the characters once. She said she felt sorry for Draco. I asked her why? She said that because of his parenting, her had been mislead. But she said that it reminded her of SW good vs bad. The struggle to want good friends and to be a part of that kind of positive feeling. She said that she felt towards the end, he realized how wrong it was to be following Voltamort.

A lot of people forget that Tom Felton had an acting role before Harry potter, He also starred in "the Borrowers" and Daniel Radcliffe also starred in "David Copperfield" with Dame Maggie Smith and Imalda Staunton. so for Tom to say that none of the kids had any acting ability is just so humble of him. Toms never been an actor that toots his own horn, so well played Tom. Also did a great job in Origin, can't wait to see more of Tom on the big screen, and it would be great if he could play a younger version of Lucius Malfoy, if WB ever bring back the original cast for another Potter movie i would definitely pay to watch it.

@@MedicLady523A - Yep, I remember when the first movie was being filmed and the cast was slowly released, the actor for Draco was commonly referred to as "the kid from Anna and the King"... Good times. Every time a new book or movie came out, it was a HUGE event, and I was lucky enough to have friends who were also into Harry Potter, so I watched every movie the day they came out, and starting from the 4th book, bought every book the same day as well. It's a shame that "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" was such a trainwreck, I would have loved to go watch the play and all, but the negative reviews and the very high prices (I was still a student back then) forced me to back down.

He’s so likeable! I watch first time reactions to Harry Potter multiple times a day for enjoyment and it is painful to see the loathing of first time viewers toward Malfoy now that I know he’s so upful and positive. I don’t know how he wasn’t affected by the negative vibes! Thankfully he seems to have dodged them! PS I’m 68 and my late disabled 3rd grade schoolteacher friend inspired me to read the books and watch the movies! She loved kids!

I want to give thanks for the writer of the Harry potter stories and the movie . My 5 children have all grown up with this . And there children.
