I wouldn’t compare it to Angel at all myself . It’s a beautiful juicy lush peach with sandalwood and maybe floral hints , lasts a solid 7/8 hours on my skin . Sure it’s pricey but I’m happy to have it in my collection

I absolutely LOVE Tom Ford Bitter Peach. It is in my top 3. I like this scent more than the Lost Cherry. The bitter peach sits so well on my skin and the dry down on my clothes is Amazing. If you don't like super sweet perfumes but you want a scent that leans a little more feminine, this is perfect in my opinion.

Nice review. I tried this in Saks and it's clearly feminine. The green accords make it a little more serious than the average peach scent, but it's still very feminine. That said, this would smell lovely on a woman, particularly in the spring, summer, and fall. It's a bit bright for the winter. And yes...it's overpriced! To charge these niche prices TF needs to formulate these to have niche longevity. On me this turned into a skin scent after an hour.

Love the bottle. Peach is usually screechy on me. $350 is too much for 50ml, especially with the Angel similarity.

The funny thing is that back in 1992 when Angel was launched it was positioned at a much higher price than most fragrances. Angel was the most expensive fragrance on the market together with Jean Patou's Joy and Amouage Gold. Oh! And in the 1980s Cartier fragrances were really expensive. I remember that a hold-up was held at a perfumery in my city and the robbers only stole the Cartier fragrances.

I just simply can’t afford this upper tier of Tom Ford fragrances. Even with a sale at a place like Sephora, I can’t really make that purchase in good conscience on a teacher’s salary. I appreciate your review so much because I’m not a big Angel fan, though I just bought a second bottle of Angel Muse. I love Tom Ford Private Blends so much, but I already have too many expensive hobbies. 😂

I think the private collection are richer and more complex than the non private collection range. Bitter peach and lost cherry 2 of my favourite ...but tom ford have just released called Ebene Fume Eau de perfume..absolutely stunning.. vanilla fatale also a nice one

I also didn't really get ANGEL off BITTER PEACH. I get peach souffle its very rich and creamy. I agree the price is really pushing it to the edge. BITTER PEACH only projected like 2 hours for me then ambery sandalwood skin scent. Agree the sillage off ANGEL especially vintage bottles is intoxicating.

Bought this a few days ago, the initial blast was really great, airy green peach. After it has dried down, the peach went away and it became a nauseating fruity milk + woody scent. Returned it the next day, I could not handle that nauseating scent.

Thank you for your honesty, I think this had to be said after the last few releases in this higher end TF category. I’ve been in the fragrance game since about 5 years now and Tom Ford is just one of the biggest name that I look up to. However, most of the higher end PB from Tom Ford appeared to me heavily overpriced. I just can kind of justify the price of Tobacco Oud Intense and FFabulous, but the rest of the line... However the problem is that still many people are willing to pay those prices and since those fragrances still seem to sell there’s no reason to lower the prices. I know it sounds hard for a collector (and I am one as well) but maybe it would be best to skip a few releases because that’s most likely what will cause a change...

Thierry Mugler has done great things with the base notes of the original Angel. Love them all, the whole line is really amazing and the body creams and body lotions are totally incredible.

Thank you for the film. Now Mugler Angel is my love. I wear it when i workout and before go to sleep. i like the scent when Angel meets the heat. It smells earthy when i put it on after awhile which i like very much.

Appreciate your honest, unbiased reviews. On principal, I have to wrestle w/ myself on TF. If I purchase then I am supporting. Yet all of my TF products are amazing. Not only the delicious packing but the actual product. You feel like you spent money on something lavish & substantial. I always think it might be a beautiful thing, I won't really use but then end up getting close to empty product. Perhaps I just choose well. ;) Just put on Angel so I can think about it. The creamier aspect is appealing to me, course the peach. Thanks!

To me it smells similar to Visa by Robert Piquet. Same peach dna. The difference is that Visa is soft leathery and BP has this milky facet from the heliotrope and also from the sandalwood. But they resemble a lot.

It smells sweet and nice, but not for the price. I would like a decant of it no need for the whole bottle unless it was on a major sale. It gives me body cream energy. Like I would totally wear this as a body butter and call it a day. Tfs

Personally I would test because you might have a completely different experience and you might say this is the best fragrance you have smelled. But it might be redundant if you smelled and thought it was a peachy Angel. Make sense?
