A very well known alternative for Neroli Portofino is 4711, which is probably what NP is based on because 4711 is such an old and iconic cologne. Very cheap online.

As Neroli Portofino alternative I'd suggest Mugler Cologne. (To me Neroli Portofino smells as if it was a clone of Mugler Cologne, but one that is a bit off, and not in any better way actually. I prefer Mugler Cologne.) As alternative to Tobacco Vanille: Zara Warm Black As alternative to Tuscan Leather: Rasasi La Yuqawam As alternative to Black Orchid: nothing that I know of, get Black Orchid :)

There is an Italian brand that makes some very good dupes, especially for TF Black orchid (Fleur Noire) and FK Baccarat Rouge 540 (Dèlire rouge). The house is called LPDO, I don't know if they ship outside Italy. The Baccarat Rouge one is really impressive. I don't like Black Orchid nor Baccarat Rouge but maybe if someone is interested... 😅

I’ve owned a huge bottle of Black Orchid for probably a decade now - so it’s still the good stuff, I’ve heard various complaints about reformulations. I think the closest dupe I’ve owned was a blind buy that sounded sexy and turned out to be a great ‘poor man/woman’s’ BO is Calvin Klein Obsession Night for Men. It’s fresher/lighter and more summery to my nose, but the smell is almost spot-on yet more wearable/daytime appropriate. It is utterly lacking the stickiness if you will of BO (for better or for worse). Similarly to how BO is for women and leans feminine/unisex, I would say ON is for men leans a masculine-feminine/unisex. Not at all a replacement for the gorgeous real thing, but really nice. Hope this helps someone.

A spot on dupe for TF neroli portofino is Clean Reserve acqua neroli; I cannot smell the difference in my wrists at all and the Clean is much cheaper! I would also love any dupes for the new TF Bitter Peach, I find it so interesting.

I own that ☝🏾 Opium fragrance and I love it . It’s so different to all my other perfumes . 🥰 I’ve also went into stores recently and sprayed some of the agent provocateur maitresse (gold bottle with red writing) it really surprised me !! It smells expensive than it is and very long lasting on clothing I’m talking 4 days ! 👍 I heard blue silk one is nice as well .

Hi Soki hope you had a lovely Christmas, I brought a few dupes from a company called The Essence Vault, the company is bases in the UK. Not all were completely similar but certainly a few that I got were very close, and I've ordered some more as I quite like them. I'm not sure if you have reviewed them at all, I hope you will consider it. They do a dupe for Rose Prick, I've never smelled Rose Prick myself so can't tell whether the dupe is close or not but the dupe is really beautiful to me and one I would wear regardless. I got the Velvet Rose and Oud dupe and I would say thats very close to the original, also the dupe for Baccarat Rouge is pretty similar too. The Madamoiselle one was not as similar as I had hoped but with the current offer I ended up paying around £12 a bottle for 8 so I'm not complaining and I would actually use them because they're quite nice in their own right. Have a Happy New Year.

Acqua di Parma “med range” is available on Sephora and right now they have a value set with 5 of the perfumes from this range in 5ml bottles and the price is $72 in Canada. This way you can try all perfumes from this range and $72 CAD for 25ml is totally worth the price. They also have one more value set for med range on Sephora that offers 4 perfumes that are 10 ml each and the price is $84 CAD. I just checked their 20ml perfume bottles is worth $80 so if you buy this 4 perfume set you are getting double the amount. I am totally buying this value set.

Precious Oud by Van Cleef & Arpels is almost identical to Black Orchid, the only dif is the patch is waaay more clean. IMHO, Precious Oud is more wearable ;) :D

Thanks for this. I have bought 2 samples from tom ford. The scents were nice but the sillage and longevity were so terrible, I can't even believe full bottles are about 200 euros. Would never spend money on them. (Lost cherry & plum japonaise) Edit: black orchid is awesome though

I’ve read on fragrantica that someone thought Lancome La nuit tresor a la folie smelled similar to TF Noir pour femme. I own the Lancome one and love it. I don’t know if it’s similar to TF, because I haven’t smelled that one.

For the Eau De Soleil Blanc, I found that it smelled pretty similar to Mugler's Iced Star (I have the EDT). Although, latter is slightly sweeter due to it's pineapple note. I often layer it with EDSB so the latter lasts longer.

I find most Tom Ford products to be wildly overpriced. They are expensive just to be expensive and they haven’t really earned that price or prestige. Like Tom thought was really on par with Chanel or other brands that have been around for ages and have earned the premium. Charging over 200 dollars for a fragrance that doesn’t last is ridiculous. Also every fragrance I have smelled of his I disliked. I remember smelling black orchid in sephora once because it was so raves about and I gagged. Like i’ve never had such a reaction before, it made me sick. In conclusion, I don’t get this brand at alllll lol
