I am so glad I watched your review as I am not a lip liner type and despite having bought many I never use any of them. I gave these Tom Ford ones a try and man they are good! The way they glide is just something else. I just hope he comes out with more cool toned shades in them. Thanks for your review it was spot on!

Thank you for your comparison! The liners look great, I think I still might prefer Sisley for the longer play time and ability to smudge it for ombre looks, but I feel really excited about the TF liners! Will be picking up a few more during sales I think 🙂 Also thank you for the scent descriptions and being considerate! I really love the new rouge 31 matte pink shade but you're right, for someone sensitive to that smell, it might not work for them

I’m definitely interested in the lip liners, thanks for testing the longevity :) Tania B Wells said she had to use an oil balm makeup remover to take it off at the end of the day, normal makeup remover didn’t work! You chose really nice shades for your complexion, love the reds on you too

Curious to try these beauties! A lot of my Clinique products are made in Belgium so maybe now that TF is owned by Estee Lauder they've moved the manufacturing of some products to one of their factories. Just a guess!

Another lip liner that glides on without you barely touching your lips is the NYX Line Loud lip liners. They are highly pigmented as well. It would be interesting to see the NYX and TF side by side.

Hi Jennifer! Thank you for the super thorough video! The new TF lipsticks are visually radiant and plumping, and I am likely to get the WestCoast shade as soon as it becomes available in Canada. I also really look forward to seeing the other Celine lipstick shades because my actual preference is for thick, long-wearing and lip-clinging lipsticks (my favorite scent is rose so I am likely to enjoy the Celine lipsticks). I am slightly curious about the new TF lip liners. PS: perhaps the expiry dates for the lipsticks and liners are on the boxes. (BTW, Angie Jolie’s features have suddenly softened dramatically and she looks more like her daughter’s slightly older sister … her plastic surgery team must be very proud…and is now likely to be booked 10 years in advance.) Thanks again!

I'm really excited about the new TF and I sure hope they will actually be readily available in the UK. Proper reds are not my thing BUT I love the other 2 lipstick shades and the first liner is a gorgeous colour 😊I'm still out here wondering what happened to the Rose Veil quad... If yes, how did that effect the "staying put" of the liners? I was just excited about the photos of the CD holiday lips. Now this! I got my West Coast lipstick today and sadly I don't like it at all, thankfully I bought it from Sephora so I can return it. It looked so stunning on you - I guess with my very cool undertones it just wasn't the same on me. It pulled very warm and reddish brown. :( So sad, I loved how it looked on you. However it wasn't just the color, I didn't like the formula either, I like a lipstick with more slip. The Chanel Coco Blooms and Dior Addicts are my faves. The TF felt drier and had more drag on my lips than I'm used to.

@@michelleisabel west coast is not a new color so it’s possible. But it’s also possible it’s just not for you! But you should check and make sure you have the new formula

@@michelleisabel it’s should be very glossy and go on kind of like a balm. The new ones are $62 It’s possible they just aren’t what you’re looking for but if it’s dry at all or not shiny they something is off with it. I have 10 or so now and they all have a very glossy, shiny finish and silk like texture. Either way. Definitely return it!

OK I did a little investigation on the Batch Code and this is the info I found: Batch code A34 Information obtained from the batch code: Production date 2024-03 Age 6 months 16 days Notes The batch codes are repeated every 10 years. I assume that means the one I have is one of the new formulas if it was manufactured in March of 2024? Does that sound right?

Your review might sway me in trying the Tom Ford lipstick. After throwing away several tubes from the Lips & Boys collection after they became rancid in less than six months, I swore off of purchasing any lip products from the brand. While I know all lip products have a shorter shelf life, I do want a tube to last a year or two. Seems like the Tom Ford liners might also be a winner. I wonder if there are volatile silicones that are providing the glide, and, once dissipated, are offering the long-wear effect. It would be great if the formula doesn’t breakdown or move with a gloss on top.

Thank you so much for the fantastic in depth video!!! It is just me or why is it still necessary to sharpen our lipliners & eyeliners? I understand it would probably cost more to have a luxury brand offer a self sharpening lip & eye liner. I would not mind paying more to be able to skip that step. If I may ask what is your opinion on this?

I think its because some people prefer a more sharpened point and others like a duller, rounder tip to smudge. Maybe?
