Yes! I thought I was crazy! The tester at Tom ford was the original, I ordered it online and received it and it applied and looked different from me testing in store. I don’t like the new one, it’s more emollient.

I have pale skin and I MUCH prefer the original. The new ones are glorified bronzers. The intention of a “shade” colour is to mimick a shadow, which has some gray in it. I’m glad TF is expanding the range to be more inclusive, but these are NOT contour shades. It is quite misleading if TF as the OG’s are known to be contours. Great review. Hi Liz, I don’t have the original but picked up the new one in Intensity 1 and 2. Two seems darker on me….very similar to the original and I don’t have any issue with the formula. The highlights in them are a bit odd lol. Thanks for the side by side review ❤

Thank you very much for the review. Very helpful. I much prefer the original, although I feel that for very fair skin tones it may be too deep. Having an oily skin, I loathe tackiness or greasiness so the new one will definitely be a pass for me.

Why do they always change the original formula and experiment with it just KEEP THE ORIGINAL that we loved and adored .. I hate when brands do that and this was expected since it’s under Estée Lauder now 😢😢😢
