15 years on this is still the greatest punk song to me. Love many of her others but this is timeless Simon and Garfunkle level 1000 years from now personefaction of punk.

I thought I knew the chords for this song but after watching her play it I think I am very wrong
@jackv70942 жыл бұрын
Right? I've been playing it wrong for years. Any idea what the correct chord progression is?
@podunkest Жыл бұрын
You guys probably have the names of the chords you're playing right, just look up how he phrases them (the shapes) or try figuring out different ways to play those chords elsewhere on the neck - He often avoided just using plain bar chords or basic chords around the top of the neck and would find interesting ways to play them, a really good example is how he plays the F# at the beginning of Those Anarcho Punks - or maybe F - I don't remember it's been too long since I've played and sang any of their stuff... which makes me sad now that I think about it.

Dear mother, this is just survival, Cannot promise your children everything, But you would lie so they can sleep tonight Defeat tasted nothing like you said Still 22 days left till the end of the world, My legacy was making you a man , For a justice I could not change, This is one voice not to forget, Fight every fight like you can win, An iron fisted champion, an iron willed, fuck up. Can anybody tell me why God won't speak to me? Why Jesus never called on me to part the fucking seas? Why death is, easier than living? You can be almost anything When you're on your fucking knees, not today... Not my son, Not my family, Not while walking is still honest, And you haven't given up on me Dear shithead, this isn't happening, The sky is really falling, the paint's all made of lead, There's asbestos in the walls, hell's come over to rip off the doors To the privileged mansion. Do you want to love and feel it? You can look but you can't taste it You can reach but you'll never have it We are untouchable, untouchable is something to be. Can anybody tell me why God won't speak to me? Why Jesus never called on me to part the fucking seas? Why death is easier than living? You can be almost anything When you're on your fucking knees, not today... Not my son, not my family, Not while walking is still honest, And you haven't given up on me, And you haven't given up on me, And you haven't forgotten me...

I call him my tom McDonald bc that dumb plant rapper but i made eye contact with them when i was 19. And they have not only broken through the fm waves but in broken mp3 players in piles on my frienes floor. Once in a cd someone left at someones house who i apparently saved too. None of these ppl knew who against me was. But they came. In my real life and laura moved to stl when i was getting fucked with but i guess thats the sad part is i cant be in stl i have to be help political prisoner by ny state robot mom and fetus society community for the greater good right... idk why does everyone hate you if you don't switch when they come for u

I feel the same, Tom was so unapologetically discontent and in your face with his music and energy. Laura holds herself differently and seems more guarded. I love her still and am happy she had the courage to be true to herself and transition but I always feel like when she was Tom she was more raw.

If you dare tell the uploader of this video to re-title this video, then your comments are completely forbidden. The person that was stated in the title was born as Thomas Gabel and has always been known by that name. Transgenderism is more of an insult to true science. The biological sex remains the same throughout your life. The same goes with your gender. Please respect me. Gender and sex barely have any differences.
