(this is the performance that Steven Speilberg saw and wanted to cast him in War Horse(2011), and also why he called him his "Errol Flynn")

1:24 *dies* would anyone understand when i say it seems like he understands facial expression like no other? normally, a good performance of that line "It seems silly not to write to one's wife when given the chance." would have been good with a simple smile, or smiling at the paper while saying it, or just saying it with a serious face. tom does it by lowering his voice (making you listen), putting on an i-mean-it face, then smiling and kind of, half-laughing. DOES ANYONE UNDERSTAND ME?
